You’re the sunshine of my day.
My radiate stars in my blackened sky.
If you point to a star, I’ll end up giving it your name.
As you are all the stars in my eyes, dear.
You slow the minutes and the hours of all my days with your mere presence.
Oh, how I wish to hold your body close to mine.
And to see your eyes light with the flame that I know belongs solely to you.
You’re the love that’s taken ahold of my heart.
Now looking upon all the stars, my soul and my beating heart, knows that you, my love, shine the brightest of them all.
When I feel overwhelmed or scared, all I would have to do is remember your smile.
So warm and comforting, it prevents all the bad things I could do.
Your face appears in my mind time and time again.
Calming the racing, the frantic beating of my poor heart.
I don’t think you could ever know that you gave me the will to live.
Nor could you feel all the love that I have to give.
What I’m actually trying to say is that I love you more than you can see.
