(Jasper Community Hospital – Late Afternoon)
It was a busy day at the hospital in the town of Jasper, those who work within the medical industry knew how intense it was and will always be, however for one nurse who always worked hard every time she was on shift was June Darby, the late 39-year-old mother of one son; Jack whom she always had to worry about ever since Jack entered his teenage years.
In the last hour of her shift, she would overhear a few of the lackluster nurses having chats, mostly about anything unrelated to work, but today June had to overhear her fellow nurses going on about a procedure one of them just had.
"Hey Nikki, I see you went through with your procedure, how do you feel?" that was Nurse Emily, one of the lackluster nurses who was in awe of her fellow Nurse Nikki, who recently just had a breast implant surgery and a Brazilian butt lift.
"Oh, it is amazing! I feel like such a new woman, the procedures went amazingly well! Can't believe it took me so long to get them done, but I tell you it's money well spent" Nikki boasted, as a few patients and some medical personnel gave some glances to her.
However, June was overhearing them and rolling her eyes, is this what her fellow nurses' main priorities are these days? June couldn't wait for her shift to be over; she was due to meet with her son Jack and their new friends; the Autobots, the secret alien robotic beings which had befriended Jack and his friends Miko and Raf, albeit reluctantly as they wanted to keep human knowledge about them only limited to a few key people in the United States Government, mostly within the CIA and the United States Army.
Soon a doctor arrived to see June, "Nurse Darby, things here have gotten quiet, you can end your shift early today, we'll still pay for the remainder of your shift" the doctor stated, before going back to his duties.
June quickly signed out, hopeful not to see on her way out, she got into her car, but at the very moment it started to be faulty. "Of all the days...." June groaned, she really wasn't having the best of days, as she tried to start up the car again and mercifully it started, and she headed home.
When she got home, her son Jack tells her that the Autobots need to see them tomorrow at 8am, luckily for him it wasn't a school night the following morning, she soon heads to the Autobot base with Jack as the Autobots would've picked up Miko and Raf already.
After a quick drive to the base, June arrives and greets the Autobots. "Hey Arcee, Jack been behaving?" she asked the blue femme.
"Always, I make sure of it" Arcee smirks as she glances down to Jack who rolled his eyes as he walked past her.
However, June noticed that the other Autobots seemed to be focused on Ratchet. "Everything alright?" she asked in curiosity.
Optimus Prime soon greets June, "Morning Miss Darby, we may have traced a signal of sorts, Ratchet is still trying to clear it up" he explained in his iconic monotoned voice.
"Would've been much faster if Bulkhead and Bumblebee weren't playing with that metal ball earlier" Ratchet quickly snapped, once again victim of the Autobots' many shenanigans, however progress was good, "I think we have a clear picture" he adds as the signal seemed to have cleared to a degree.
Miko soon pipes into the conversation, "Gonna be another day of whooping Decepticon butt?" she asked in her excited tone, making Ratchet stop moving and made a dull unimpressed face.
"As much we'd love to indulge your impulses" Ratchet sarcastically responds, "It doesn't seem to be a Decepticon signal, at least i believe from our records of some of the Decepticons we have" he explained.
The others soon looked at the screen and Ratchet soon triangulated the signal as it was moving and appeared on the open road. "The signal is on the move, but it's entering a twisted road" he points out and turns to everyone.
