(The Autobot Base -A Few Hours Later)
Cambo and June soon return from their drive, though they'd agreed to keep the conversation they had to themselves, but June would still report Cambo's progress. The Autobots soon gather round as Cambo comes to a halt to let June out of him, he soon transforms back into his normal mode.
"How was the drive?" Arcee asked, with a little ounce of bitterness.
June gave Arcee a disapproving look, "Actually, it went very well, and I think Cambo has something his wishes to announce to all of you" she states, before turning to Cambo.
Cambo stood before Optimus Prime, "I know this is more of a formality than anything, but after my drive with June and knowing how dire it all is, I feel this would be appropriate" he states, before standing to attention, "Optimus Prime, I respectably and humbly request to be reinstated back into the Autobot cause" he announced. June smiled and decided to make it more official, she soon stood next to Cambo. The Autobots are shocked by Cambo's new turn of mindset, June must've had convincing words, as neither the Autobots nor their words worked on him.
Optimus soon placed a hand on Cambo's shoulder, "Cambodious of Cybertron, you are hereby accepted into our cause, I appreciate your decision to return" Optimus states, glad to have another Autobot in his ranks.
However, June gets a phone call from her work, "Hello, this is Nurse Darby" she spoke into her phone, sadly however... "What? But... I'm..." she tried to speak to her phone, but it was no use, her work had called her in to fulfill a shift as one of co-workers had fallen ill and she had to be there in less than 25 minutes, "Alright, I understand" she soon ended the phone call, she soon turns to the Autobots "I need to get going" she states in urgency, grabbing her handbag. Cambo soon transforms into his alt-form, activating his hologram cover and opens the door, June quickly gets in and Cambo heads off to the hospital, hopefully to get her there on time.
(Jasper Community Hospital - A Few Minutes Later)
Cambo pulls into the staff carpark at the hospital, "Alright, just under ten minutes before you start" he points out to June who grabbed her purse.
"Thanks for getting me here on time, Cambo! Really appreciate it" June responds and climbs out of Cambo, however, before she could take a few steps, she is intercepted by Nikki who took immediate interest in June's new 'car'.
"Hey June!" Nikki called out to her, "I see you got a new ride, that must've cost quite the pretty penny" she adds, putting June on the spot.
"It's just a replacement until my car gets fixed" June spoke, trying to keep the conversation light and hoping it be enough to convince Nikki, but it didn't seem to be enough as Nikki began to push her new chest out, clearly trying to intimidate June.
Cambo, who was watching the interaction, quickly formulates a plan to help June, he soon called June's phone and as she answered it, it went on loudspeaker and June saw it was Cambo and he began to speak in a calm and friendly voice, "Hey June, It's Cam; just wanted to say that I'm sorry what has happened to your car, glad you let me know, do hope the car I provided helps out".
June saw what Cambo was doing and answers back, "Oh thanks Cam, it's been running well, thanks again for helping me out" she spoke to her phone.
"Anytime, do take care of it, I'll see you around" Cambo soon ended the phone call, June put her phone away and looked at Nikki, hoping that would satisfy her.
Nikki became caught off guard, her attempt to intimidate June had fallen completely to the ground, "Oh... well, I guess you got some good friends. See you inside" Nikki begrudgingly spoke and headed inside.
