The other counters rushed upstairs, they found the youngers and with them there was Mr. Choi injured."Where is the evil spirit? Why didn't you catch it?" Motak asked calmly, waiting for the younger counters to reply.
"Wigen.. warned me.. she said we have to go.. now!" Somun replied, still shocked by the blood Mr. Choi has lost.
"Warned you? W..What did she say?" Hana asked, there was a hint of nervousness in her voice.
It was not the first time Wigen told them to hurry up and leave the place.
"Let's go out first, before someone else gets hurt" Ms. Chu said as she tried to heal Mr. Choi's injury, her nose started to bleed as the counters stopped her from overworking herself.
On their way out of the abandoned building, Motak carried Mr. Choi on his back, the injury was no longer bleeding however they still had to bring him at the hospital.
-
"Who was that? Mr. Choi said he didn't see anybody but he suddenly got injured" said Jeokbong.
"I'm afraid he's even more powerful than your preview enemies" Wigen stated.
All the counters were now in Yung, except for Mr. Choi, who was resting in the hospital's bed after the incident.
"We can fight him" Somun said confidently as he looked at the other counters and cheered them up.
"You must find it"
"Any weaknesses?" Motak asked.
"We are still not sure" Giran replied.
The counters made worried faces, but once again Somun encouraged them whenever the others were feeling uneasy.
"We can do it!"
Later, the counters luckily spent a quiet night, they went back to Ms. Choi in the hospital.
"I'm sorry Ms. Choi. I should have protect you" Somun said.
"It's not your fault, Somun. I should have been more careful" he assured the young boy as he smiled weakly.
The doctor told them he could be discharged the day after, but he should take some days off to rest properly from the injury. The cut wasn't deep but he still lost blood and it wasn't fully healed.
Ms. Chu decided to stay with Mr. Choi and asked the counters to sleep in their hideout. She didn't want them to sleep uncomfortably in the hospital as they did what she said.
Somun, later at night, couldn't sleep. His mind was clouded of thoughts.
He was still thinking about Wigen's words. That evil spirit was very powerful.
The next days that evil spirit didn't show up, making the counters anxious and confused.
Why would he hide? Or why would she hide? Was he, or she, planning something? They didn't even see how that evil spirit looked like, nor Hana. She usually saw the evil spirits' faces but not this one. Why?
There was something peculiar about that evil spirit.
Meanwhile, the young boy woke up early to go training all by himself.
He improved his skills as time passed by, but was it enough? How much strong was the new evil spirit wandering around?
He didn't want to lose anybody anymore.
And if he must sacrifice his life, he would do it.
