WAKING UP next to Lando still feels so surreal. Every time I stare at his pretty face in awe while he's still asleep. I take in his pretty features, his sharp jawline and nose, the moles on his face, the long dark lashes and dark brows. His curly hair tousled, a couple of curls sticking out on his forehead. The stubble on his chin and the small moustache forming above his pink lips. His face literally makes my heart flutter.

"I can feel you staring at me Lily" He groans, his voice hoarse as an affect of just waking up. His brows furrow, and a smile forms around his lips. "I know i'm handsome but it's pretty uncomfortable to have someone staring at you while you're asleep."

"Jesus Lando" I slap his shoulder softly, a laugh escaping his lips. My cheeks flush in embarrassment as his eyes flutter open, and he lazily smiles up at me. "I can't help it" I whisper, shaking my head. "You are pretty."

"pretty much yours yeah" He chuckles, pressing a kiss against my fingers. The tingling feelings his lips leave behind spreads all the way to my upper arm. I shake my head and push the covers off of me. It's early, the sun still rising, and I'm longing for a cup of coffee.

"How are you so good at waking up this early." Lando groans, rubbing his eyes before sitting up, taking in the surroundings of my room. He isn't wearing a shirt, and I take a peek at his toned stomach while standing up, walking to my closet to get a sweater.

"Never had any trouble with it, my father used to wake me up at six o'clock to go running." I nod, pulling a grandpa sweater over my head. It's a big knitted one with brown and red colors and a high neck.

He shakes his head with a smile before staring a me. "The sweater suits you" He says, grabbing his sweater off of the floor. He pulls it over his head before putting on the hood, covering up his messy curls.

"Thank you" I smile, before opening the door, silently walking down the stairs trying not to wake any of the others. I walk into the kitchen and put on the coffee machine, leaning against the counter. I wait for the coffee to be done and then pick up the mug, the steam from the hot coffee warming my face.

Lando comes walking into the kitchen, his arms sneaking around my waist from behind before pressing a few kisses to the side of my head. "Didn't figure you as a coffee drinker." He chuckles, his hot breath on my neck.

"I can't function without it, it makes me angry all day" I smile, carefully taking a sip of the hot contents inside the mug. The familiar taste fills my mouth, and I smile because of it.

"I'll remember to get you Starbucks each morning then" He beams before letting go of my waist to grab a cup of water. He chugs it and puts the glass on the counter before taking a seat at the kitchen table. I sit next to him and put the cup of coffee on the table, a comfortable silence settling between us.

The kitchen tables in front of a big window, and I glance outside to take in the sight. Somewhere in the distance I can see the horses running through the pasture. The sky is painted in beautiful pink and orange colors, a damp layer floating above the grass. A soft sun is shining, but I just know it's cold outside. It's the middle of winter after all.

"Soooo" Lando breaks the silence, dragging out the 'O' slightly while glancing over at me. "I've planned something for us this afternoon. Make sure you're ready at one. Oh and wear something that's comfortable. You can ride a horse right?" He asks.

I nod. "I actually can ride a horse, yeah" I tell him, curious about the sudden statement. "What are we going to do?"

"That's a surprise, be ready at one. I'm going to feed the horses!" Lando simply says before standing up. He shoves his chair back under the table, and then he puts on his shoes and a jacket. He walks out of the front door, leaving me sitting there on my own.
