"You know smoking's bad for you right?" Hermione calls out, neatly tying her red and gold tie around her neck, careful not to get any creases in her shirt as she gets ready for her lessons of the day. Looking over to the tired-looking girl sitting on the windowsill, she takes in every inch of her. from the way she inhales the smoke that does so many damaging effects with no care in the world, to the fact her tie sits untied around her neck, the little freckles dotted across her cheeks, everything.

"Good." The thick Scottish voice rings out, clear of the fact the girl simply didn't care for the lasting effects smoking has. Grey eyes look out the window, taking in the views of mountains in the distance to the little black dots down below, Students making their way to feast in the Great Hall, wanting to break last night's fast quickly.

"Tie your tie you look messy" Hermione bosses, carefully picking out the books she will need for today's lessons.

"No"

"Why Blondie?"

"I don't know how okay!" The scar-covered girl snaps, sending a piercing glare at the Muggle-born. If looks could kill, Hermione Granger would be dead in an instant and the culprit would be sitting only feet away, putting out her cigarette on the windowsill, leaving a little burn mark where the lit cigarette met wood. The brown-eyed girl looks away, thinking about what she should do.

"Come here I'll tie it" Hermione says, putting her books back onto her bed as she looks over expectantly over at the girl, waiting for her to help. Blondie on the other hand made no attempts to move, just staring at the girl with the same lost gaze she gave when they first met. "Fine I will come over myself then" Hermione mumbles, walking over to the blonde-haired girl.

Hermione slipped herself in between the mystery girl's legs, Grabbing hold of the two ends of the girl's tie as the grey-eyed owner stared down at the girl who had slotted herself in between her legs. Not knowing where to look, The girl simply stared as Hermione hummed to herself as she quickly tied the tie. It took her seconds but to the Blonde Haired girl, it was like time stopped in those moments.

"and done!" Hermione said, looking up at the girl. Grey meets with brown once more as Hermione Granger captures the eyes of the girl in front of her. Time stops at that moment as they both stare into the eyes of each other. Hermione never realised the beauty of those eyes until now, they were like a storm cloud ready to pour rain onto the ground and to Hermione it was mesmerising.

The Grey-eyed girl watches as there is a faint glimmer in the distance, Hagrid emerges from the Forbidden Forest, dragging a fistful of dead ferrets by the tail. She watches as a bird appears and circles the half-giant's head playfully, chirping merrily before it flutters off. Pin-wheeling past flowers as it flies to Hogwarts's many stone birdbaths, stopping there momentarily before finally coming to rest on an ancient tree. The bird twitters cheerfully, singing a beautiful harmony when a thick brown branch punts the bird into the air, as feathers float through the air, the ancient tree known as the Whomping Willow resumes its normal shape,

Dipping her quill into ink, her pale fingers carefully open up the front cover of a battered black leather notebook.
