Charlotte opens the door to a smiling Jude holding a fresh bouquet of flowers. His gentlemanly attention would soon be her death. As she stands on tiptoe to kiss him on the cheek, he is already looking around his apartment.
"It's cosy." he said after a while. Lottie laughed, "That's a nice way of saying it's tiny and you don't like it...". Her home was cleaner than usual because she hadn't been back for so long. But a quick glance at Jude's expression made her understand that this was absolutely not his taste. Charlotte was the opposite of minimalist behaviour, she collected unique things like a part of her body.

" Minimalist bitch... " she whispered as she picked up a vase for her bouquet.
" I am a man living alone, of course decoration is my nightmare! " he said in defence, a pity defence.

She leads him to her room, saying that she has to pack her things for the holidays. When she reached her suitcase, Jude's eyes were wide open at her, as if in panic. "What, love?" Charlotte asked.
" Shouldn't you have packed by now? The plane is only a few hours away!"

Lottie would never have guessed that Jude was one of those panicky people knowing that travelling was his daily life. "I have time for this, and honestly, I have just unpacked my things from Germany, so all the determination is gone!"

Jude just nods and adds, "Then lie down in your bed and I'll pack it for you. Just tell me what you want to bring with you!"

Nothing was nicer to hear from a man than that. Lottie went back to her bed and lifted her blanket, revealing a sleepy orange cat underneath.
"Who is this lovely creature?" Jude shouted before coming to her bed. He stroked her cat gently, afraid to disturb the sleepy animal.
