Y/n POV

I hit the ground with others landing behind and around me, my door's explosive bolts failed to clear the door but it was loose enough for a strong kick to allow me to grab my main weapon as I saw insurrectionist warthogs coming our way, so I began suppressing fire so that the others can get armed and join me to secure an LZ for the pelicans to get our vehicles. "Suppressing fire!" I shouted as I continued to let my weapon roar as others joined, flanking the Innies.

Once we neutralized the hostile force, we secured an LZ for our birds to drop off supplies to have a forward operations base in the canyon valley we landed in, I went back to my pod to get my M99A2S3 stanchion and portable power generator, then put the generator on my lower back to keep the weight distribution balanced. I nodded, then went back to the platoon to see a convoy of Marines go liberate the city. I led everyone else to the mansion, where we were joined by two grizzly tanks. The Captain upstairs, I guessed, wanted to be generous for us, as I heard from one of the operators on the radio.

"This is the Executioner, who is leading this operation? Over

"This is the Executioner, who is leading this operation? Over." "This is Tower, I'm leading the charge of the mansion, over," I replied as I stopped for the tanks to get in front. "Well then, big man, what do you want me and the retribution to do? Over." The operator asked. "You two are to destroy anything that will cause us a nuisance, hogs, tanks, the works. Then, once we have to get to the property, destroy anything that is trying to escape the garage while we split into three teams to clear the mansion over." I instructed as we got behind the Grizzly tanks in a line to greatly minimize casualties. "Understood, let's wreak some shit!" The retribution operator said as we moved through the canyon. This was one of the hottest days the men were in, and looking at them, they looked like they trained for this and then lived in it.

Once we entered the main road leading to the mansion, I heard a faint pop and felt my helmet jolt backward, staggering me, but I heard a second shot and let myself go off balance, falling on my back and hearing the round zip over me just a quarter of an inch of my visor. "Tower is hit-! Wait, he's getting back up!" One of the other guys said as I got behind one. The grizzlies readied my M99A2S3 stanchion while pulling up the Atlas Plus system, but just as a precaution, brought out my dope book for a brief reference. 'Pushing 5 miles with a SRS, cheeky but stupid.' I saw through my scope three different glints, one out of the watchtower and two more at the top of the Mansion on the roof, but I also saw what looked like a Wolverine launcher with insurrectionist marking. "Retribution, turn off your engine," I briefly said. Then the grizzly tank's engine shut off, eliminating the vibrations as their acknowledgment. "Boom..." I lobbed a round directly into its rocket rack igniting and violently exploding. "Executioner, fire on that watchtower with a couple of canister shells; no, my mark," I said as I aimed at the sniper on the rooftop while Executioner made some micro-adjustments. "Locked in!" He said over the radio.

"Fire," I said as we fired in unison, the watchtower falling from the explosion and one of the snipers missing a head as the other freaked out and then mistakenly fell off the roof. "Move in to secure the property now!" I said as Retribution fired up his engine again to make our advance again. Soon we overwhelmed the local force scouring the house for my father's home, as I was walking through the halls I heard what sounded like my Sargent was in trouble and ran to the wall that was in poor condition, soft enough for a large individual like myself to slam through grabbing my father by the collar of his vest and backed him in the face that was combined with my strength and my suit's added strength from the passively powered exoskeleton.

I grabbed him by his legs and dragged him outside, yelling at the others. "Deadman coming out!" Once outside I forced him to sit on his knees. "Please, I... I can give you what you want! Money, Girls, and drugs to help you! Please don't kill me!" My father begged as I took off my helmet crouching in front of him. "Son??! Son, please! Why do you side with them?! They're the oppressors-!" I grabbed him by his throat and then looked at my sergeant as he gave me a nod for my father's execution. "Headshot." I looked back to my father's gaze and his eyes were struck with fear and regret. Grabbing my sidearm, I pressed it onto his head and said my final words. "To Lady Lucifer that my mother doesn't need to worry." I let go of his neck and blasted a cap in his head, and to make sure he wasn't playing possum, I shot him two more times, and they had to make sure the dead stayed dead.
