"For over a century, I have lived in secret, hiding in the shadows, alone in the world... until now. I am a vampire, and this is my story," Hyunjin said.

*They were driving at night.*

"An hour's drive for that crap? You know, it wasn't even a band. Just a guy with a guitar. An hour each way," a man complained.

"He wasn't that bad," his girlfriend responded.

"He sounded like James Blunt," he retorted.

"What's wrong with that?" she asked.

"We already have a James Blunt. One's all we need."

"So why did you come?"

"Because I love you."

"Nicely done," she frowned, looking out the window. "What's with the fog?"

"It was clear just a second ago," he replied.

"WATCH OUT!" the girl screamed as someone suddenly appeared in front of the car, and they hit him. She started to pant as her boyfriend looked at her.

"Are you okay?"

"We just hit someone, oh my god!"

"Call for help," he said as he unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car to check on the person they had hit.

"Please be alive," he muttered as he approached and touched the person, who was unnaturally cold. "Oh, my god." Suddenly, the person they had hit grabbed the man's neck, stood up quickly, revealed his fangs, and bit him.

The girl got out of the car. "There's no signal!" she shouted. "Darren?" she called out, but she couldn't see him. "Darren?" she called again, fear creeping into her voice. She turned quickly when she heard a loud crash on the car and saw her boyfriend lying dead, blood on his neck. She screamed and started to run, but someone caught up to her, and her screams echoed into the night.

Hyunjin stood on the roof of his house. "I shouldn't have come home. I know the risks. But I had no choice. I have to know him," he said as he jumped to the ground.

Jisung sat in his room, writing in his diary. "Dear diary, today will be different. It has to be. I'll smile, and it will be believable. My smile will say, "I'm fine, thank you." Yes, I feel much better. I will no longer be the sad little boy who lost his parents. I will start fresh, be someone new. It's the only way I'll make it through.".

"Toast. I can make toast," Nayeon said.

"It's all about the coffee, Aunt Nayeon," Jisung replied as he poured himself a cup of coffee.

"Is there coffee?" Jeongin asked as he entered the kitchen and took Jisung's cup. Jisung rolled his eyes and poured another cup for himself.

"Your first day of school, and I'm totally unprepared," Nayeon said as she took out money from her bag. "Lunch money."

"I'm okay," Jisung said, but Jeongin took all the money and put it in his pocket.

"Anything else? What am I missing?" Nayeon asked.

Jisung frowned. "Don't you have a big presentation today?"
