It had been five days since Saitama debuted as a professional hero... and five days since this cyborg wormed himself deeper into his life and effectively stole his girlfriend's attention.
Don't get him wrong, even as he watched as (Y/N) laughed at Genos justifying his need for having several journals on both of them and called him adorable, and he was 95% sure she also knew about his little crush, he knew she would never actually engage in anything romantic with him. Not after all the years they spent together, and all the things they had done for each other.
That didn't mean he had to like him.
"Wow! You're such a good artist, Genos! It almost looks like you took a picture!" (Y/N)'s voice made Saitama look up, and across the table was two journals. One had incredibly detailed realistic drawings of the spider woman in various poses with a smiling face and paragraph-long near-poetic descriptions with wording that would make Shakespeare shed a tear, each word a compliment of some sort ranging from her appearance to her physical skill to her intelligence.
The other had what Saitama could only describe as an egg with arms and legs surrounded by numbers and bullet points.
"How come you didn't give me as much detail?" Saitama asked as he stared at the pages side-by-side. It was hard to believe they were drawn by the same person.
"Given Madam (Y/N)'s more complex features, it was only natural that I would need to spend more time mapping out each one. It's been a pleasure to be able to study her in great detail up close, but I also appreciate your more simplistic traits being easier to draw."

He was going to kill this guy someday. The second (Y/N)'s doting nature towards him wavers even just a bit, that cyborg is gone.
"By the way." Genos snapped Saitama out of his silent rage for just a moment. "At the seminar, they said if you're a Class C hero and you have no hero activity for a week, your name will be removed from the Hero Registry. Will you be alright, Master?"
"They said that?!"
"Wait, you didn't know?!"
"Yes." Despite the panic from the couple, Genos remained completely stone-faced.
"But I was watching TV and there wasnt anything going on."
"The news only reports major incidents, like natural disasters, terrorism, and dangerous monsters. You always fight the most powerful enemies, so you probably do not know it, but Class C heroes primarily take care of purse snatchers, robberies and random attacks. With Class C so full of heroes, to survive they must actively look for cases to resolve. I hear many of them going cold calls, nothing will come your way without legwork."
