Isabella Potter is thetwin sister of Harry Potter. They are both magical. They survived the killingcurse casted on them when they were both barely a year old. The twins are botheleven, meaning they are to go to the school that their parents met and learnedmagic. Slowly waking up from her sleep, Isabella or as she goes by Izzy, meetsher brother's eyes. Today is their eleventh birthday, and at the same time, they are leaving their relatives to go to their magic school.
Sitting up on the floor of the lighthouse, Izzy yawns and turns to see Hagrid, the half-giant from the wizard world. Getting up to make breakfast, Harry follows his sister. Once breakfast is cooked, Harry hears movement from the couch, where Hagrid is. Turning around, Harry watches Hagrid wake up before getting up to come toward him and his sister.
"Good morning." Hagrid greets yawning.
"Good morning, Sir." Izzy smiles shyly, "Harry and I made breakfast. Would you like some?"
"Of course. I bet your cooking skills are as good as your mother's were." Hagrid agrees.
"You knew our mother?" Harry asks in surprise.
"Yes. We were friends. Same with your father and I." Hagrid nods accepting the plate that Izzy has passed him filled with food. By the time that they have finished eating, Hagrid opens the door of the lighthouse before leading Izzy and Harry into the rain.
Shivering in the rain, Hagrid gets Izzy and Harry to hold onto his arm before they disappear from the small island and appear in an alleyway.
"Where are we?" Izzy questions nervously with her brown hair soaked from the rain.
"London." Hagrid smiles leading the twins through the door next to them. Walking into the building, Hagrid exits through another door after speaking quietly to the person behind the counter. Shrugging it off, the twins follow, "Welcome to Diagon Alley." Hagrid speaks proudly as the wall opens up so they can walk forward.
"Wow." The twins whisper as one taking in the magic.
"Now, here are your letters for Hogwarts. We will follow the list and get your supplies."
"Wait," Harry calls out as Hagrid walks down the alleyway. Running to catch up to him, Harry continues, "We have no money."
"Gringotts. Your parents left you money to take care of yourselves." Hagrid reveals pointing to a white building off to the side, around the corner.
"Ah!" Izzy groans next to them clenching her side where the pain is coming from. Feeling the pain himself, Harry clenches his teeth to hold in the pain.
"What is wrong?" Hagrid kneels down pulling Izzy to him so she is leaning against him.
"Something is coming." Izzy whispers as tears build in her eyes, "Something bad. Do you feel it too?"
"Yes." Harry's hand flies to his forehead where is scar is, which is where the pain is. Izzy's scar is on her side, "Just breathe Izzy, it should pass."
Moaning in pain, Izzy rubs her side in hope that it will help. Not knowing what to say, Hagrid knows. He knows the cause of the scar Harry has. As the pain eases up, Izzy sighs in relief. Helping his sister up, Hagrid keeps his arm wrapped around Izzy for support.
Arriving to Gringotts, Hagrid opens the door to let the siblings in first.
"What are they?" Harry whispers as Izzy starts to walk on her own while Hagrid leads them to the front tall desk.
"I don't know. Elves?" Izzy offers shrugging her shoulders in suggestion.
"In our new world, I guess it is possible." Harry chuckles making Izzy roll her eyes. As they stop, Izzy and Harry stay silent as Hagrid speaks quietly to the creature. Taking his little sister's hand, whom is a few minutes younger than he is, Harry gulps as the creature leans on the desk to look down at them.
