Book Two: Chapter Four

[Shogun Training - Ei]

Stepping into the bright sky, Relon Lucinance had but one thing on his mind. One sole agenda planned. Today would mark the start of his training as the Raiden Shogun in preparation for his future battle against Snezhnaya and the Tsaritsa.

Peering down, he looks to the reunited sister he's come to both love and question. She had surprised him in wishing to come but in hindsight, her knowledge over Cryo and other areas that he and Ei weren't as adept in would help.

"Ready?" She asks with a curious tilt, adorable as always.

"Yeah."

Even if he wanted to ask Qiqi, too many negatives would arise from doing such. She was not the small child that would forget stuff that didn't seem important. She was only 10 but she was trained by the most capable individuals in Inazuma. Not to mention she was his sister so her own train of thought lined up with his to a degree. Then there was that split personality trick she had made during his absence where her mind flips. He still did not know the full capacity of what she could do when in that serious "mode."

Turning back to Miko with the three situated in the room Ei and the Shogun would supposedly work in, a portal appears behind them.

"Make sure you're not late for dinner, you three." She gives a coy grin.

"We'll try to make it on time," he responds before vanishing once more into the purple rift.

Plane of Euthymia

Upon stepping foot atop the hard, grainy, surface signaling their arrival, Relon's eyes immediately scanned for the housing Archon to find her absent.

"Where's-" At once, he feels Qiqi push him out of the way as a bolt of lightning strikes the spot they once stood. "The hell?!"

"Up," was all Qiqi could warn as his eyes followed her pointed finger.

Sure enough, high above stood Ei herself atop an Electro platform. The only difference being the usual kind demeanor she wore when conversing was now absent.

"Looks like training starts immediately." He notes. "Engulfing Lightning!"

"No." The cool voice of Ei cuts, electricity arcing between her and Relon's hands. Power dissipating, his confused eyes can only look to the weapon appear in her palms. "Before weaponry, first we must establish the basics.

"So we're running?"

Huh, Qiqi took the words right outta himself.

"Dodging," Ei corrects. With that, the glowing of her eyes commenced their training.

"Get ready, Qiqi!" Despite the grim situation he was in, he couldn't help but cock a grin.

Perhaps it was the simple fact that he was finally doing combat against Ei once more. Only now he had his own train of thought and not some blind rage. Possibly the chance to train alongside his sister for the first time that he could remember. Given their last act together before that fun race was fighting an ice dragon. Probably both.
