It has been a few days since the incident in the castle, me, Jiryu and Naofumi have been grinding in the fields full of the orange ball monsters that we now know them being called as "Balloons". Along the way, we had been conversing with each other, telling Jiryu's mercenary experiences and threaten a scammer.

Aside of Naofumi secretly pay back Erhard for his gears, we also discover he can change the form of his shield for different abilities. Thanks to that, we are able to sell some medical herbs we found in the woods at a higher prices due to Naofumi new "Leaf Shield" improving the quality when he forages them. We then head into a restaurant nearby for dinner.

Naofumi: Thanks, man. What's cool is that you and Jiryu can use other weapons besides the Vassal Weapons. What do they do by the way? I haven't seen you two use them.

Although we party up to help Naofumi to level up, but we don't have the numbers to fight the Waves. With the false rumors spreading fast, it became difficult to get anyone to join and always mix with unwanted troubles.

We turn and see a group of sketchy men approach us, telling us they will join our party willingly. Knowing this is a robbery, we nodded at each other and decide to mess with them. As we leave the restaurant and head into an alleyway, the three sketchy men were about to mugged us but in retaliation, Jiryu take down one, I jump and roundhouse kick another one and Naofumi take care of the last one with the Balloons he hidden within his cape. After the thugs ran in fear, we were about to leave the scene but was called out by some weird little man.
