A girl, Y/N, feels unloved and believes that no one loves her. She thinks of herself as the most unloved girl in the world because she was an orphan.

Her orphanage teacher told her that she was picked up from somewhere when she was just a month old. She didn't know when she came into this world, so the day she arrived at the orphanage was considered as her birthday.

She was a bright student in the orphanage school. When she turned 18, her aunt and uncle took her to their home. They had a daughter named Min-ji, who became her only friend.

Her aunt treated her like a maid, but she was okay with it because she provided her two meals a day. Y/N wasn't highly educated, so she did part-time jobs to pay for her education.

During the day, she worked in various ways, and at night, she studied. Her hard work paid off, and she earned a scholarship to complete her degree.

Her aunt told her that her mother had given her to her aunt, but she refused to take her, so Y/N's mom placed her somewhere.

After completing her studies, she started working at Kim Enterprises as a personal secretary to her boss, Kim Namjoon.

She is 22 years old and has been working there for 11 months. She has a huge crush on him but tries to distract herself from her feelings. She finds it hard to focus on her work because of his strong aura.

Whenever they attend business parties or events, she is happy to be by his side. He is an attractive and kind person who respects everyone, especially women. She lives with her aunt, uncle, and their daughter Min-ji.

Although they are wealthy, they didn't provide Y/N with an education or ask her about her desires. They gave her a small room next to the kitchen, and she feels like a maid in their house.

Despite her difficult life, she dreams of buying a beautiful house, finding a husband, and having children. Her aunt brought her there to do all their house chores.

She began to hate her parents when she was bullied in the orphanage. However, meeting Namjoon gave her a reason to live and love life. She dreams of spending a beautiful life with him.

Namjoon is a workaholic, always engrossed in his laptop, phone, and files. The company offers a house to Y/N, but she declines, as her aunt wants her to live with them.

She feels like she's part of a family when they eat meals together. She fears that if she takes the house, she will be alone.

One morning, she gets ready for the office but becomes irritated when her aunt shouts at her for forgetting to put a water bottle on the table.

She puts on her heels and runs out of the house to catch the bus. While running to the elevator, she bumps into someone, spilling water on him. Without looking at him, she apologizes as the elevator doors close.

She arrives on the 16th floor and runs into the office. She sighs in relief as she arrives before Namjoon. He is strict about work and fires employees for carelessness without letting them explain their problems. This is why his company is number one in the country.

Namjoon has parents and a younger brother, Seo-joon, who is a spoiled bad boy, completely opposite of Namjoon.

Y/N is in the office when Namjoon enters, making her heart skip a beat. She greets him, and he greets her back. Sitting in his chair, he starts working.

She can't focus today because he's wearing different clothes – old-fashioned ones, but he looks handsome in everything. He usually wears a three-piece suit with perfectly styled hair and shiny polished shoes. She smiles, looking at the attractive man in front of her.
