                A stressful first week

"I live a normal life on Selfrons 24th Street. I lead a simple yet content life, often overworking myself with the leftover homework from the previous night before falling asleep."

"As the alarm beeped, and the sun shone through the window signaling the start of a new day, I groggily turned it off and returned to sleep. I could hear my mom cooking breakfast downstairs, while she asked my little sister to wake me up."

"Sissy, wake up!"As she tried to wake me up."Sissy mom is going to be mad at you if you don't wake up."

"Fine, if you don't wake up, I'll tell mom about you lying to her about studying with your friend's last night," my sister said, crossing her arms as she used all her strength to pull the blanket from me.

My eyes flew open, and I threw back the blanket. "Okay, okay, I'll go. Just don't tell mom," I said. I sat up as my sister crossed her arms. "Hmmph, it's not my fault you woke up late," she replied. "Aww, come on, can you just do me one favor and not tell Mom?" I asked, smiling.

Her cute voice accompanied by gentle tugs on my blanket.

"You're going to be late for school."

"But still didn't you wake me up earlier?"
I grumbled as I woke up, questioning why my sister, Senia, hadn't woken me up earlier.

"Hmmph, sis, it's not my fault that you turned off your own alarm."

She retorted, reminding me that I had turned off my alarm myself. Despite her playful annoyance.

I smiled as I playfully lifted her, "You little troublemaker!" As I helped her get dressed, she still had a pouting look on her face. I sighed. "Can't you just let it go? I promise to buy you candy after school." She slowly turned her head to face me and looked up at me while I tied her hair. "Promise?" I chuckled. "Promise."

I couldn't resist smiling when I saw my cute little sister. I had the urge to squeeze her cheeks, but I chose to exercise self-control. As I put on my school uniform, including the iconic navy-colored vest with my school's golden rose pattern emblem, my sister stared at the emblem. I smiled and playfully tousled her hair.

"Sis, don't mess up my hair,"

Senia protested, to which I chuckled, expressing my affection for her. After a quick routine of brushing my teeth and taking a bath, I tied up my hair, put on my uniform, including the school's distinctive necktie, and headed downstairs, greeted by the enticing aroma of my mom's cooking

"Mmm, that smells delicious, Mom. Is that my favorite eggs and bacon?

I couldn't hold myself any longer as I ate my breakfast very fast, glancing at the time in panic.

"Lorena, be safe and be a good girl in school, okay honey?"

I looked at my mom as I smiled while riding my bike,

"Yeah, yeah, Mom, I promise you I'll do well in school."

I rushed to grab a snack and my project, which I had left behind. My mom handed me my lunch bag as I left, a piece of bread already in my mouth. I sprinted to school, arriving almost an hour late.

"Running late, I hurried to mount my bike, hastily chewing on my bread. Taking in the bustling surroundings teeming with individuals practicing magic, I glanced upward to behold a myriad of fantastical creatures I had never encountered.

Amidst the spectacle of advanced technologies, a quick glance at my watch jolted me into the realization that time was swiftly slipping away.

"Oh, shoot," I muttered under my breath."
