Chapter 13

Marco

I had reached home in a short matter of minutes. When I walked into the house all the lights were lit and not a second to late my dogs came rushing up to me sniffing my skin. Rae my tiny brown toy poodle ran around my feet jumping trying to get to my arms so I picked her up.

All the while Duke, Milo, and Rocky all tried to play fight and tackle me.

Duke is my Rottweiler he is a little scary looking but he's basically a baby. Milo, my Great Dane is a mischievous little shit stealing food everywhere he goes. Then you have the baddest of the group. Rocky, he's a little bitch even though he's by no means little. He's a Doberman he'll bite you out of nowhere then when you fight back he lets go and starts whining like he was the one hurt.

Oh and don't let my mom be around to hear him whining she'll start beating you for 'beating up her baby'.

I ran around a little playing with my dogs and when I was out of breath I bent down and put my coat on the rack while still holding Rae.

"Rae where's ma ma?"

I asked not expecting her to even listen but she barked and jumped out my arms leading me to the living room.

"Hi ma ma."

I bent down and gave her a kiss on the cheek

"Hi figlio where have you been hm?"

She said smacking me in the back of the head.

"With friends."

"Friends my foot. Don't be making babies before your out of school you hear me?"

"Yes ma ma I hear you." I say rubbing the back of my head.

"Where's dad?"

"Working in his office, you should go see him he's been worried about you these past few hours."

"Ok" I say giving her a kiss on my way upstairs.

"Pa pa?" I say knocking on his door.

I hear a muffled come in.

"How are you?"

I ask cautious

"I'm fine, where have you been?"

"With friends."

"Mhm friends my foot."

He says clearly not believing me.

"You and ma ma are too alike it's weird."

"Why do you think I married her? He said smiling and wiggling his eyebrows."

Ew...

"Ew, gross don't do that again."

He started laughing and getting up out of his chair. He made his way to me grabbing me by my neck putting me in a hold and giving me a noogie as I fought him off.

Rae was barking from her bean bag in my dad's office.

"Alright, alright I quit." My dad said showing Rae his hands.
