"Son I have some important news to share!" My father, Ging suddenly spoke. I brought my attention towards him, "what is it?" I asked, he closed the lid of his laptop that he was working on, "we're moving". When he said that it felt like my whole world was falling apart, I can't leave Italy I love it here....its where I was born, but who knew that this one small town that I was moving to, would change my life forever.

~present time~

I was in a deep sleep, I could hear faint noises from outside and the voice of my father. As I started to stir awake I heard his voice even louder, he was nudging me. "Son wake up! We're almost at our new place" his voice rang through my ears. I lazily sat up in my seat and rubbed my eyes and looked out the window.
The town looks dull...lifeless, I guess that's why it's called DimBridge, but I have a weird feeling that something isn't right about this town and I don't like it one bit.

Finally we have arrived to our new home. Ging parked the car in the driveway and I stepped outside with my rucksack on and looked at our new house. It was a settled navy blue colour and had white outlines, our door was just plain old wood and the house itself looked very tiny. I sigh as I stepped on to the porch and slowly opened the door.

The door made a squeak sound which scared me as I stepped in and took a look around. It was all dark so I couldn't see very much but I saw the living room and the small kitchen on the other side, right in front of me was the long staircase which led to mine and Ging's room and his office.

I walked up the stairs with my hand sliding against the railing, which was also made of wood, mostly everything in here is, I went to check out all three different rooms up here, each room has its own bathroom which I found cool.

Just then I heard something fall from the other room which spooked me, I turned around and it sounded like it came from the office. "Gon! Get down here!" I heard Ging call from downstairs which snapped me out of my curious trance and ran back downstairs, still wondering what on earth was that noise.

I went downstairs and out of the door and saw Ging talking to someone, the man was tall and very muscular and had long silver hair.

I stood next to Ging and the tall man noticed me.
"Ahh and who's this young lad?" The strange person said, his voice boomed loudly. I gulped but Ging pulled me up front.

"This is my son Gon, we just arrived here today. Gon say hi to Mr. Zoldyck he also has a son the same age as you" my dad said and pushed me in front of Mr. Zoldyck.

"Ahh umm hi my name is Gon, nice to meet you Mr. Zoldyck" I said shyly and took my hand out, he gladly shook it. "Nice to meet you Gon! And just call me Silva, I hate formalities" he said, ahh...Silva I get why he was called that.

"I think you may like my son, he's the middle child but the same age as you I believe. Maybe you guys should come round and visit, you're my son's type" Silva laughed at the end.

I nervously chuckled "his t-type?" My cheeks were red from embarrassment.

"Haha Gon doesn't swing that way I'm afraid, I don't want Gon getting badly influenced" I face palmed my face, why does dad have to be so embarrassing.....and he's completely wrong about me.

Silva made a stunned face "well I just mean he may fancy you, I meant in a friendly way but maybe a romantic way to"

Ging faked smiled and patted my shoulder "well lovely meeting you Silva, once we've settled in we should let the boys meet some time" he said.

After we said our goodbye Ging slammed the door and placed our bags in the hallway. He grabbed my shoulders and faced me towards him. "Gon I don't want you meeting that kid do you understand? He could give you the wrong ideas" he said suddenly in a serious tone, I suddenly felt a tiny bit nervous, what does he mean? "But you said-" "I was lying Gon, I don't trust those neighbours, this whole town is sketchy" Ging said "then why did we move here?" I said back, "because of my new job and for a better life for us, I just don't want you associating with him do you understand?" He let go of my shoulder and I slowly nodded but the truth is....im curious about Silva's son, maybe we can be friends.

My first friend in this miserable town that's now called home.

A/N: what do we all think of this one? :)
