Charlie had woken up that day with one thing on her mind. She was going to talk to her friends about Fredbear's. She got up out of bed and stretched. She put on her favorite hoodie and shirt and put on some jeans. She looked around her room to check if she had left anything around. She exited her room and made her way for the stairs, she thought once again. She shrugged and walked down the stairs. She could smell eggs being cooked in the kitchen. Her father was probably making her favorite. Eggs Benedict. Her father was an excellent cook, if not the best. "Hey, sweetie!" Henry said with a smile on his face. He glanced over at her. "Making your favorite as per usual." He said as he was placing everything on her plate. He did it with such a delicate touch. It was almost as if he worked in a five-star restaurant. "How did you sleep, hm?" He asked with a grim tone in his voice. "I heard a bit of a racket from your room upstairs, didn't have a boy over, did you? Bad dream? Feral Raccoon?" He said, his voice starting to shift from serious to a very silly and unfitting tone that Charlie didn't get to hear often from her father. She burst out into a light giggle, and her father smiled as she passed him her plate. "No, I just had a bit of trouble sleeping, I can't wait to talk to my friends today!" She said with an uncertain glee in her voice, Henry looked at her and leaned back on the table. "You gonna tell me what about or?.." Charlie shook her head and giggled again. "Noooo! It's a bit of a secret!" She tried to act all innocent to play it off. Henry shook his head, smiling. He believed that she wouldn't do anything bad. He puts a lot of trust in his daughter. Charlie was lost in thought as she had her eggs. She was wondering where she would meet them. "Hey Charlie, wanna see something cool?" Henry asked with excitement, filling his face and his voice. Charlie nodded, and he ran down to the basement. She sat there finishing her eggs. She waited a couple of minutes, and she heard her father running back up the stairs again. "Alright, you ready?" He asked her in excitement, Charlie nodded again with a smile on her face. And with that, Henry pulled out a little toy robot. It's not a cute purple one that a kid would use and play with but a mechanical creature with metallic skin and wires wrapping around its limbs. This thing was around a foot tall and had big bug eyes that were shut. Henry had a wide grin on his face as he flicked a switch on its back. The eyes opened up, and they started blinking. Charlie had a curious look on her face as she eyed the little animatronic. It looked at her as if it saw her properly. It was like it was a living thing. Charlie looked in disbelief as it started to walk around her father's hands, Henry had his hands out like a little platform. "You know what the crazy part is?" Henry said this as he flicked the switch of the little animatronic. "This thing can read and copy human emotions, I programmed it to do so. Its whole purpose will be to make you feel safe!" Henry said this and looked back at Charlie, who had a nervous look on her face. "That's uh, real great dad." She said with in a sarcastic tone. "I'm gonna just lay in bed and read." Charlie said as she was getting up, Henry scrambled back downstairs with the robot in arms, mumbling things. Charlie had a concerned look on her face as she made her way back upstairs to her bedroom. She closed her bedroom door behind her as she jumped in bed. She laid in bed and thought about her life. She had missed some of her other friends that she had made from her school. Her father pulled her out of school to teach her himself. He believed that school was useless, and he wished for her to be his successor and run any company that he created. If he were to ever need her to. She didn't want that. She wanted to do what she wanted to do herself. Though for her father, she would still do it for him. She shook her head and looked over at her phone on her nightstand. She picked it up and dialed a number. The phone hummed and hummed, and someone picked up. "Hello?" The voice asked. "Hey, David? Get the group together. We'll meet at our diner, we need to talk." Charlie said with excitement in her voice. "Alright, I got it. See ya, Charlie." David said as he hung up the phone. Charlie laid back in bed and started squealing in excitement. She couldn't wait for what was to come. She laid back in bed and began to read her book for the rest of the day.
