Driving down the dirt road that leads to our house, leaving from there on a family road trip. It was in the late morning during the day, sun shining through the car windows. Dad was driving as mom was in the front seat across from him, going 30 to 40 mph down our road to pull onto the highway to get to our destination. I sat in the back, my special royal throne of space and a bit of peace. I looked out as I saw the blue sky and few clouds going by. When dad pulled off on the highway, we were headed, on our way to an amusement park. It was covered in several rides, including one called Hall Of Mirrors that I have my heart set on going into.

The other rides are ones such as roller coasters, kiddie rides and a few others. As the car made a quick jolting of pulling to the left, pulling into the entrance as the car slowed to a stop between two yellow lines marked on the concrete below. I waited as dad put the car into park, checking my surroundings as a mascot covered the front gates. We all headed up to the front together, walking hand in hand down the sidewalk that lead to the front gates. Dad had grabbed our backpack, filled with a few chilled water bottles, snacks and a few flavored drinks, along with some necessities. You were given tickets that can either be ordered online or you can pay in cash before going through the entrance. Either way, they give you your tickets if they've been paid for.

We paid for 5 tickets that got handed to us immediately, walking inside through the gates. I held both moms and dads hand, in each of my hand tightly. Stepping into the madness that was chaos of screaming and laughing that could be heard. Along with the smell of delicious food floating through the air. I smiled at Uncle Lea and Aunt Lizzy as I held onto moms hand, letting go of dads as I pulled him over to our first small ride. Sam smiled, nodding at me as he held my hand, guiding me up as we stepped up onto the stairs. He lifted me up into the small car ride that was warm to the touch due to the afternoon heat picking up.
