Ch. 1: Family Trip

Sam getting into the same one himself next to me, joining me as he sat down with a hand on my knee. Dad stood by the rides' entrance gates, along with Uncle Lea and Aunt Lizzy standing to the left of Donivan. Anya with her girlfriend standing to the right of her. The four of them waiting by the short gates at the entrance of the ride, with the stairs leading up to the ride, dad drinking a sweaty cold bottle of water. Uncle Lea, Aunt Lizzy and Anya started walked off together, talking about something as they headed to a small snack stand. Uncle Lea and Aunt Elizabeth ended up paying for everyone's food and drink. All of the food and drinks together looking like a party pack that you'd buy from a big brand store for a toddlers or kids birthday party.

After the ride was over, mom and I went over to the small stand where Uncle Lea, Aunt Lizzy and Anya were standing. We joined them before dad came over, throwing two empty water bottles away, picking a soda and tasting what flavor it was. Surveying the area as I got a glimpse of an attraction called The Mirror Maze. I looked back at the attraction as I saw a child and their parent enter through the entrance. This family trip just got better, but before I could go in at all, I still had to eat then wait for the rest of the family to finish eating also. I opened a small box filled with small breaded fried cheese balls. Opening a second package, that was a big bigger and rounded, it was a burger with melted cheese and with a few pieces of onions.

Mom and dad sat across from each other, opening their food or exchanging with the others to find their right order. Dad tried Uncle Lea's drink and spat it out quickly as it had an awful taste, giving the drink to Lea. Mom and dad switched drinks as I started to sip on my juice slowly while also taking bites out of my food. Mom and Uncle Lea started talking while Anya and dad were too. I watched them having a good time as I sat quiet eating my meal, taking a few bites of what Uncle Lea had ordered for mom. Mom typed in a code to his phone as he checked the weather. Dad stared at mom for a bit as mom was eating a bit slower while looking at his phone.
