The unexpected hybrid species

Suprise Spawn

I got this idea was in my head and it wouldn't leave, so here I am again making another book. And again I got the idea from a book by IcyWillowSong called Outlaw, I got the idea when Sabre disguised himself as a green Steve. But being whatever he is and not a Steve, doesn't have powers and thought what would happen if there was a mix between the two species. Will probably make a rewrite in a few years. RQTimeline: after the darkness was gone for good, Sabre and Time went back home to relax. Also New Spawn is what a brand-new Player is called. The picture above is the clothes all new spawns ware, but the blue gem changes on the person (Azzysie's is red).

POV: Sabre

I was sitting on the couch leaning my head on Time Steve's shoulder while he was reading a book, when I got this warm tingling feeling all throughout my body. I froze as I knew what that feeling meant, every player does. I think I startled Time when I bolted upright and raced up the stairs and into my room, quickly packing a bag full of stuff I think I will need. "Sabre!? What's going on!? Is something wrong!?" I could hear Time asking me as he too came up the stairs. "It's nothing bad Time, just something big is happening and I want to be ready!" I called back to him.

As I finished packing the bag with supplies I spun around and almost smashed into Time as he came running into my room. Time's mouth was already opening and saying "What do you mean something big is happening?" when he stopped me from falling over. "Well now I don't have to go and get him." I thought, thinking how he is already up here is saving me time. "No time to talk Time, just teleport where I'm thinking!" I say to him in a rush. I know how my first time was. I don't want anyone else having the same experience.

Time looked at me worried before he held out his hand for me to grab saying "You better tell me what is going on once we get there." I nodded my head frantically trying to get him to hurry up before we were too late. There was the familiar flash of light and the feeling of weightlessness then a change of scenery. We were at the very same place I met Red Scout, the first red Steve I met. "Now will you tell me what- Sabre!?" Time said surprised as I took off into the house leaving the doors open behind me. "Sorry Time, got no Time." I thought to myself after I heard him cut off his sentence by surprise.

I stood right before the presser plate, taking a deep breath getting myself to calm down. Time was right behind me catching his breath. I don't know what to expect when I meet them, whoever this New Spawn is. I definitely wasn't expecting what I saw next, there lay a player with red splotches all over their body, their skin was tan in color (something Steves never saw before), long bright red hair, the clothes of a new spawn on their body. No matter how much I prepared myself, I would never forget how surprised I was to see someone like me. Though I don't know why they have red splotches all over them, probably from the fact they spawned in a Steve realm.

"Hmm, where am I?" The new spawn asked one of the few questions that every new spawn says when they first join the world. I don't know why but I felt this warm feeling in my chest making me think "Is this what the first Player that interacts with new spawns feels like? What does this feeling mean?" I would have to find answers to my questions later, right now I have a new spawn to introduce to the world.

I kneeled down and gave them my hand to help them up. I am glad, with everything that is going on, Time Steve is waiting right outside the hidden door. I think that maybe he has a feeling that he shouldn't barge in here and ask me all the questions he has. Putting on a soft genuine smile, I pulled them up and helped them keep their balance. "Welcome to the Steve Realm, I am Sabre. So far, the only player here, well other than you." I said keeping my voice gentle.

They looked at me and then themselves thinking hard before saying "My name is...is" I rested my hand on their shoulder as silent encouragement. "My name is Azzysie! Wait, how do I know that?" Azzysie said telling me their name. I chuckled at their question, handing them a water bottle and some sweet berries. "No one really knows, it's more like it's a part of our very being." I said watching them down the water and munching on the berries. I'm glad I remembered to grab the sweet berries as they are a new spawn's favorite first food, never understood why.

I waited for them to finish before I continued talking to them. "Mmm, so yummy." was what Azzysie said once they were done eating. "Now that you are full, I want to show you the world. But first, I have a friend that I owe an explanation to." I said chuckling. They smiled before nodding their head. I smiled back guiding Azzysie through the hidden door. Time Steve was on the other side pacing back and forth waiting for me to come out. When the door opened up Time's head turned towards me. "Sabre, it's about time. Will you please tell me what is going on!?" Time said as he stopped pacing.

"Sorry Time but something big just happened." I said moving to the side to reveal Azzysie behind me. Time's jaw dropped open, I had to stifle my laugh at his reaction. "Hi I'm Azzysie!" The new spawn said in greeting. Time just looked at me with a face that said 'what are they?' I shook my head before going to say something then looking at Azzysie. "What are your pronouns?" I asked them. "Oh, I go by She/Her." They said, answering my question. I then turn back to Time who no longer has his jaw open. "She's a new spawn or a brand-new player. Though I don't know why she has red splotches all over her." Time's eyes went wide under his clock mask.

After a few seconds of Time not moving, I waved one of my hands in his face and got no reaction. I think I may have broken him, oh boy.
