The unexpected hybrid species

New Name

The new name for the Steve/Player hybrid species was actually made by azzysie in a comment.

POV: Sabre

Me, Time, and Azzysie are all eating lunch that Time made. Azzysie was eating her food so fast I had to tell her to slow down. "Slow down Azzysie, I know it's good but no one's going to take it from you." I said with a laugh. Time was shaking his head at us in amusement. I was the same way when I first tried Times cooking. After we all finished our food, I took care of the dishes. Time was talking to Azzysie about how his cooking was so good, well more like Azzysie was asking him a lot of questions. I chuckled to myself, walking back over to the Steve and the pl-hybrid. "I need to come up with a name form her specific species." I thought to myself.

As I was walking over to the table, we all heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it since I am already up." I said to Time who was still sitting with Azzysie. Time nodded his head at me returning to the conversation with Azzysie he was having earlier. Walking over to the door opening it to see M waving at me in greeting. "Hey, Sabre! You're not in the middle of something are you?" I smiled when I saw him and answered him with "Oh hey M! Not really, why?" I let M come into the house me and Time share. M after coming into the house, slowed down to a stop, looking at Azzysie. "Uh, Sabre?" M called my name, turning his head towards me.

"Hmm?" I hummed. "Who is that, and why do they have Red Steve energy?" M asked me in a hushed tone. "Oh, that's Azzysie. She's a hybrid between a Steve and a Player." I said, rubbing the back of my head. M was just staring at me. I don't know if I broke him to, so I waved my hand in front of his face. He shook his head then immediately took a notebook out of his inventory. I couldn't help but chuckle at M's reaction. "Do you have a name for her species yet?" M asked me, I shook my head no. M wrote down something before saying "There has never been a hybrid between our two species. . . Can I name her species!?" I was a little taken back at what he said that it took me a minute to process what he just said.

"How about we as Azzysie as they are the first of their kind, and the one who's species' is being named." I said guiding M over to the table. I had to stop M from rushing to the table and startling both Azzysie and Time, as he was super excited. Once M come over to the table, he sat down right next to Azzysie, I took the seat right next to him. "Hi, I'm M! It's nice to meet you." M said to Azzysie with his black gloved hand reaching out for a handshake. Azzysie looked at his hand with a confused expression, then to me for guidance. "He is giving you his hand so you can shake it. It's a way of greeting." I told Azzysie. By now M had pulled his hand back thinking Azzysie wasn't going to shake his hand.

M then looked at me confused, but I interrupted him before he could ask me anything "Azzysie is a new spawn, or well part new spawn as she is part player." M made on O face in realization that they are brand new being in the world. Time was reading a book about Steve energies, where he got it from, I have no idea. I nudged M to remined him what he was so excited about in the first place. "Azzysie was it? I was wondering since you are the first of your kind, If I could possibly, name your new species?" M asked, his voice getting quieter towards the end. Azzysie thought for a moment before saying "Sure!"

I could visibly see M was excited when he got Azzysie's approval. "Really!? Thank you!" M said, his hood almost falling off. "I was thinking that because you are a mix between a Steve and a Player you could be called a Plave." M said pulling out his notebook again. I nodded my head to agree with him, Azzysie smiling at the new name. "That sound good, not bad M." Time said closing the book he was reding. M then wrote in his notebook, me leaning over to see what he was writing.
