OLIVIA WAS CONFUSED. Worried even. Things have been different lately, specifically with Clara.

When she showed Clara one of her tracks for the album she had coming out, everything seemed fine, right?

That's what Olivia thought as well, but apparently she was fooled. Fooled by someone who she thought was family, someone who helped her in her darkest times. Someone she trusted endlessly.

Olivia hated this feeling.

The feeling of betrayal that eats away at your insides, tearing you down piece by piece by those who want to feast on who you once were.

Olivia hated that she knew this feeling all too well, that she felt it so often throughout her life.

Most of all, Olivia hated the fact that she was blind to the sudden betrayal. She had trusted Clara so much, so completely that she didn't even see betrayal as an option.

But going around and talking on a podcast saying how much you hate someone is something no one can expect, right?

That's what Olivia wanted to think. She wanted to think that Clara was just going through a tough time, that something was going wrong, maybe she didn't get the part she wanted in a film?

But no matter the amount of endless excuses Olivia tried to make, none of them truly convinced her. How could they?

The videos online of her laughing as she talked about Olivia getting cheated on constantly replayed in her mind, the snide comments that she made one after the other wouldn't stop playing in a continuous cycle.

Through all her life Olivia had been torn down and forced herself to build herself back up, forced herself to keep going, be strong. All because she didn't want the life that her parents had, and somehow the world kept dealing her cards that knocked her off of her feet; sending her tumbling down to the ground, injured.
