Frisk pov.
I looked at the gold that I have. 10 gold. Got it from monsters after I spare them. I wonder how I use them or what they are used for. Must be a shop somewhere around here right? I continue walking. Heading forwards. If there no path anywhere just head forwards. Or what they say. My footsteps makes echo. The sounds of the water can be heard around the ruins. I then got to a sign. It a blue sign with white writing. I read it.
*if you want to meet the man in blue. Then go down this path to the door*
The man in blue? Sounds like some kind of kid show mascot. But my curiosity always get me. I walk down the path. To a machine at the end. There is no door. Just a empty hallway with a arcade machine there. I go up to it.
*insert a coin*
Is it real? Or is this illusion. I felt it. Yup It real. Wow. I haven't played these in awhile. I grab a gold and put it in the machine. Hey it one of the side scroll games. I begin to play it normally. Shooting bad guys. Collecting items. And score points. It was actually fun! After awhile I completed it. Getting a new highscore. That was fun. As I turn to walk away. I heard the sound of something moving. I turn around as I watched as the arcade machine disappears and the wall opens. I step in. The space feels. Weird. Why do I have the feeling i am not actually supposed to be here. I see a table. There is a bell on it with a sign that says. Ring. I ring the bell as something appears infront of me. Making me jump. It looks like someone wearing a black and white suit. Black gloves as a cane appears onto his hand. I look at it head. It. A blue heart?
???: "hello hello. Dear customer.and welcome to my universe store. My name is yubi and I am but a traveler that goes to worlds and offer wares. As you can see there are items that only exist in your world along this table. For a price you can get them. Take your time and browse"
A float heart for a head. But has a business voice. With a hint of shyness to it. But the items are interesting. Apple. Monster food. And a juice box. I have 25 gold. So so far the juice box heals a good amount. But the apple is a good price. I brought the apple and juice box. I put them in my inventory.
Yubi: "great! I also have some items here you can earn by completing small little task. The moment you complete them. You get the items for free"
He leads me over to another table and snap his finger. Items appear with glass dorm over them. There a bandana under one but it a red color. There a knife under one but it has a unique glow to it. And there apples but 5 of them. He hand me a list.
Yubi: "chose what quests you want to accept and complete them. Once done come back here with the quests complete and I shall allow you to chose which one of the items you want first. But if you leave this place without claiming the items. They are gone forever. Take your time completing them but don't forget them"
He hand me what looks to be a button.
Yubi: "use this to teleport to one of my nearest shops. That way you don't have to walk back. Unless you perfer to have your explorer self to look around more my guest customer. Now. Welcome. To yubi universal shop!"
He snap as a sign appears above this area. What a great intro. I can ask him questions. I chose to asked what his he?
Yubi: "me? Well I can be anything. But I am more just a man of mystery. Please reframe from asking about my head. I am. Not comfortable with explaining. Thank you"
What so Universal merchant salesmen?,
Yubi: "well. I been all over the Universal. But I can't disclose any info or else I'll be causing alot more then confusion to this world"
What is this place?
Yubi: "this is a space between places. That exist in. And out of this place. There alot could say. But run the risk of being told off. So I run a small business. Add something to your adventure in the underground"
I should complete one of these quests. Or task you can call it. im interested. I look at the paper as I go to exit. As i exist I turn to see it turn into a doorway with the sign of the shop. I looked at the list. Spare 5 frogits. Don't get damaged by flies attack. Don't eat your green. Interesting I thought of. I then head in forwards. The pathway forwards leads to more puzzles. And more exploring. I will keep in mind for the rewards he has to offer. It could help me with my adventure here. I enter the next area and goes to a save point.
"With task and adventure. Your path is place infront of you. It is new. But your fills with determination!"

But I will promise that I'll never stop doing books. None of them are canceled even if my mind wants me too. I shall keep doing these books to finished what I started this years ago.
