Rimuru is an eccentric and childish person by nature but this shouldn't be mistaken for immaturity and naivety. Underneath the surface, Rimuru is constantly analyzing, planning, and weighing the pros and cons of their actions, taking the smart move in the long term over more rash and emotional decisions. In betrayal of this composed and calculative demeanor, Rimuru is ruthless when it comes to handling people who have aroused genuine fury inside of them. They'll go as far as acts of brutal torture and murder without so much as batting an eye if it can be gotten away with, and they use more subtle methods like intimidation and blackmail when those cards are off the table.

Rimuru is also highly intelligent and takes a great deal of care with their personal image by playing manipulative games, such as lying on official accounts, erasing memories, tricking their opponents with staged results or false information, and creating forged historical documents to make them appear as a more kind and benevolent person than they are in reality. Despite Rimuru's often selfish and nefarious tendencies, they do deeply care for their subordinates, viewing them as something like a family or collection of children. Due to the memories of Satoru Mikami and Shizu, Rimuru has access to a robust set of human ethics to rely on when their more cruel monster self isn't up to the task.

Background (A.k.a Explaining this AU):

600 years have passed since the Tenma war. Tempest was what one could call a super power, litteracy rate was at an all time high, the economy was flourishing, low inflation, it was a true utopia where everyone could laugh and enjoy their lifes as they wish; something that was Rimuru's goal from the start... However, the nation's slimy king wasn't happy at all, you see, there wasn't many things he regreted in life, but one he did was how he was now the loneliest god there was. Any love interest he originaly had were long since deceased as they weren't "immortal" like Rimuru. He had spent the last 200 years alone doing nothing by paperwork in his office as a way to cope with the emptiness he felt deep inside his soul... However, the light at the end of the tunel came in the form of his loyal partner Ciel.

Saddened to see the person she cares for turn out to be like that, she proposed the idea of "Starting Anew", where Rimuru would leave a clone in his place and look for a new universe where he could start a new life. It was then that Ciel suggested a universe that was like an old manga/manhua Rimuru used to read when he was Human: The universe where the events of "Release That Witch" happen. Excited, Rimuru asked Ciel to create a copy of this universe where he had her rewrite a few portions of the story so he could sort of "Self-Insert" himself in the story in a way that is natural: By replacing the 4th prince with himself.

Thus, began Rimuru's new life in a world where he now has 2 goals:

1 - Create a prospering and happy nation, making it the "Jura Tempest Federation 2"

2 - Create a Harem full of witches (Ciel only agreed if she was his first wife).

"You can take Rimuru out of his role as king, but can't take the Role of King from Rimuru": A tease Ciel made about Rimuru when he proposed his 2 goals.

When Rimuru took control of his otherself's body, he had all the memories from his self of that Universe as well as a courtesy the memories of the Protagonist who got isekai'd into Release That Witch (thanks to Ciel). For the full experience, Rimuru took control at the same exact time the Protagonist in the canon story does.

Changes made in relation to the Canon "Release That Witch":

In this AU, Roland Wimbledon is replaced by Rimuru (Duh) who has taken the Alias of Rimuru W. Tempest (The W stands for Wimbledon). Unlike the canon, Rimuru as the 4th prince was a closed off and quiet person as a kid, always keeping himself distant from the rest and prefering to study instead of playing. His relations to his older siblings was not the best, while they would pick on him, they never tried anything physical because one time when they did, he made his revenge by putting enough laxatives in their food that they lost 12 Kilos of weight; thus, they decided never to mess with him again. Meanwhile, his relation with his younger sister was really good; Rimuru would always protect Tilly when their older siblings would try to bully them.

When they were adults, Rimuru was quite famous among his siblings as he was the most beautiful out of all of them. This sparked Jealousy among his older siblings who made a fake story about Rimuru to their Father, which he belived and thus made him the ruler of Border Town as punishment; although this was all predictable and in Rimuru's plan as the thing he liked most is to transform a suffering town into a prospering HUB of profit and intelect. He'd show the world that Witches can be great waifu's- I mean, show the world how dumb they are for believing Witches are demonic creatures!

Hope you guys enjoy this little silly idea of mine. It's going to be a real favorite of mine to write for y'all as it combines two fandoms i love the most. Speaking of which, i want your guys' help to develop this book. Many of you might agree that in the official story, after Roland defeats the church the story kinda goes... meh... So, i'd like your guy's ideas to transform this story into more of a AU or Alternative Path for the og story; as well as suggesting possible ideas and/or changes to future chapters; any criticism (not hate speech) is welcomed!
