Your trip the infirmary was short and sweet, the injured recruits had all managed to recover in time before the second half to training began. Four hadn't left Tris's side the whole time, making you smile warmly at the couple as you tell the both of them to head to the hall and get some food and that you'd let Ethan know you might be a little late as Ethan was handling this afternoon's session.

You head back to the training room, taking the long route so you could pass through the chasm. The chasm made you feel at peace, the sounds of the water instantly putting you at ease every time you passed by, making sure to walk extra slow as you pass along the bridge. Taking a few moments to yourself you lean back over the rail that you had occupied yesterday, claiming this as your spot as you lean against the wet metal rail, closing your eyes and enjoying the familiar cold spray of water hit your face.

"Its getting a little creepy y'know" you say with closed eyes, a small smile on your face as you hear a familiar deep chuckle echo in the chasm, heavy steps making their way towards you, your eyes finally opening as you feel the inviting warmth of his arm brush against yours.

"Just checking you weren't planning to throw yourself off the bridge instead of the roof" he grins, turning his head to the side as he hunches his back, resting his elbows on the rail as he looks down at you.

"Sure you weren't" you roll your eyes playfully and look out towards the water. You bit your lip anxiously as silence overtook your conversation, the loud sounds of the water filling the room. "What did you think about training earlier?" you ask softly, you couldn't help but wonder what he thought of the fights earlier, what he thought of Ian, Ethan and you.

"Entertaining" he grins, causing you to turn and face him, admiring the smile that graced his features. "They need it, the majority of recruits this year are transfers, making them softer than we'd normally like" his comment made you scoff at his words, raising your eyebrow up at him in a questionable look.

"Well you're the one that trained them?" you say teasingly. "A student's only as good as its teacher"

"Four and I trained them this year" he huffed, pushing himself off the rail to stand up straight, your eyes now level with his chest as he looks down at you. "We trained the transfers, Zeke and Lauren trained the dauntless born" he made sure to add.

"Well it sounds like you've done a good job seeing as the majority of them are transfers" your voice dripping in sarcasm, causing him to roll his eyes and clench his jaw, holding his chip up high as he looks down at you. "What's wrong with a transfer anyway?"

Your comment seems to knock him off guard for a moment, his eyes softening momentarily before a smirk graces his lips, his eyes taking a moment to rake over your form before landing back on your face.

"Let me guess, Candor?" he smirks, leaning down slightly so he's level with your eyes. "You seemed to get on awfully well with Christina earlier, you know her from somewhere?" he grins.

His confidence causes a giggle to escape your lips, holding your hand against your lips as you stop yourself from practically laughing in his face. You expected him to take offense, knowing that your laugh had just shown that he was completely wrong, however you watch as the corner of his lips tug upward, his steel blue eyes raking over your face as you hold back your laugh and clear your throat, a serious look now adorning your face aa you look up at him.

"You're wrong" you push yourself off the rail, moving to step past him as he stands in your way. Placing your hand on his chest gently, the gesture seeming entirely innocent to someone that walked past, you couldn't help but let your fingers trail down his chest slightly, stopping right above his abs as you tip toe slightly and lean up to his ear. "Amity" you let your hand fall from his chest and without another glance you walk past him, adding a little more sway to your hips as you feel his gaze on the back of your head.
