Die Geschichte des Ritters, ou o conto do grande e nobre cavalheiro é um conto Alemão de toda floresta negra em badem württemberg, no sudeste da Alemanha.

Ele fala de um corajoso cavalheiro apontado pela igreja para matar um grande mal que estava roubando crianças de uma aldeia local. Acredita-se que seja um dos primeiros exemplos de the slender man ou der großman como mais tarde seria conhecido na alemanha.

Ná época, ele foi chamado de Der Namenlose (o inominável) e Der Unheilige (o profano).

O cavaleiro recebeu uma arma especial, uma arma sagrada enviada por Deus, que teria caído das próprias estrelas. Muitos acreditam que a arma foi forjada de um material originalmente do lugar da qual the slender man veio e que é a única arma conhecida que pode matar the slender man, chamada de brincadeira de 'the ender blade' por fãs do slenderverse. A armadura de Der ritter também foi forjada desta mesma substância e lhe deu proteção contra muitas das habilidades psíquicas de the slenderman.

O grande cavalheiro a levou para a batalha e foi capaz de ferir a gravemente a besta, mas não mata-lá. Dizem que a ferida mostrou carne nem sangue, mas alguma outra coisa. Uma escuridão, mas além de qualquer escuridão do nosso mundo. Uma escuridão faminta, todo o vazio que consumia era visível.

O cavalheiro sabia que esta era a forma verdadeira de the slenderman, e que ele havia apenas quebrado a superfície, fazendo com que ele se tornasse vulnerável.

Antes que o cavalheiro pudesse tirar vantagem de seu estado enfraquecido, the slenderman foi capaz desaparecer em um clarão de luz e um ruído alto e crepitante, como um relâmpago. Tudo o que restou foi uma pequena criança ferida. E o cavalheiro acreditava que ao ferir a criatura, ele foi capaz de libertar uma de suas muitas vítimas.

O menino chamado Benjamin ficou órfão de the slenderman, então o criou como seu próprio filho. Passaria mais um século antes de qualquer relato de encontros com the slenderman. Supõe-se que Der ritter o enfraqueceu tanto que ele não foi capaz de se manisfestar até que um tempo tivesse passado.

𝐃𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 ୨ৎ

The tale of the great and noble knight is a German story from the Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg, in southeastern Germany.

It speaks of a brave knight appointed by the church to vanquish a great evil that was abducting children from a local village. He is believed to be one of the earliest examples of The Slender Man, or Der Großman as he would later be known in Germany.

At the time, he was called Der Namenlose (the Nameless) and Der Unheilige (the Unholy).

The knight was given a special weapon, a sacred weapon sent by God, which was said to have fallen from the stars themselves. Many believe the weapon was forged from a material originally from the place The Slender Man came from and is the only known weapon capable of killing The Slender Man, playfully referred to as 'The Ender Blade' by fans of the Slenderverse. Der Ritter's armor was also forged from this same substance and provided protection against many of The Slender Man's psychic abilities.

The great knight took it into battle and was able to severely wound the beast, but not kill it. It is said that the wound revealed not flesh or blood, but something else. A darkness, but beyond any darkness of our world. A ravenous darkness, all the emptiness it consumed was visible.

The knight knew this was The Slender Man's true form and that he had only scratched the surface, making him vulnerable.

Before the knight could take advantage of the weakened state, The Slender Man managed to vanish in a flash of light and a loud, crackling noise, like thunder. All that remained was a small wounded child. The knight believed that by wounding the creature, he had freed one of its many victims.

The boy, named Benjamin, was orphaned by The Slender Man and was then raised by the knight as his own son. It would be another century before any reports of encounters with The Slender Man appeared. It is assumed that Der Ritter had weakened him so much that he could not manifest until a considerable time had passed.
