Part ~ 1

"Girls."Anna called up the stairs.

"coming."Kirsten shouted back.

The three girls were stood at the top of the stairs.

"school."Emily sighed

"whats so bad about secondary school?"kacey asked.

"you'll see."Kirsten said and the trio began walking down the stairs where Anna met them she had three lunches in her hands. Each girl took one as Anna kissed them on the forehead.

"welcome to secondary school year sevens."mrs evens said entering the classroom.

"hi im kacey."kacey said to the girl sitting next too her.

"kacey as in Anna and Nicks daughter."the girl said and kacey nodded surprised that she even knew who Anna and Nick were. the girls chatted and eventually at the end of the day they exchanged numbers. Kacey had a brilliant first day at school but Emily and Kirsten had had the complete opposite.

"Hows everyones days been."kacey asked as she approached the others.

"terrible."Emily sighed

"same."Kirsten huffed

"oh."kacey said she decided not to ask what had happened.

kirsten knocked on the front door but there was no answer so she got out her door key and opened it.

"i wonder where mum is she said she was gonna be in."kacey said. the girls sighed they hated it when kacey called anna and nick mum and dad but they put up with it.

"i am,"Anna said"but I've gotta pop to the shop ill be back quicker then you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."she added leaving the house.

Nick arrived home from work before Anna did the shop.

"any post?"he asked hanging his coat up.

"just a letter for you dad."kacey said handing it to him. He opened it and scanned over it.

"what is it nick?"Emily asked

"i don't even know what to say."he said falling on the sofa. the girls read the letter over his shoulder.

"Anna can never know."Kirsten said and the others agreed.
