Finally Chapter 9

*Savannah's POV*

I couldn't stop pacing back and forth. Taylor has been in ICU for over an hour.

"Savannah sit down." my father told me, I ignored him and kept pacing. how can he expect me to sit when he did all of this.

A doctor came out and I stopped and asked how she was.

"Well Miss. Rivers we had to induce a coma so we could do the work we needed. Even though she's a werewolf her healing is severely slow."

Tears started flowing down my eyes and my dad tried to put his arm around me but I shoved it away. "Can I go see her?" I asked the doctor.

"Only one at a time and her mother is back there now. I will tell her that you want to see her too." he said.

"I don't want to I need to see her. She's my mate."

This floor of the hospital is reserved for our pack and the doctors and nurses are all werewolves as well so they understand the chain of command and know who I am.

"Yes Miss. Rivers." Was all he said and he left.

I went back to take my seat and my dad said he was leaving and asked if I'd be alright. I didn't answer him so he finally left.

About 20 min later Taylor's mom left and I could go see her. When I walked into the room it smelled just like her. I took a deep breathe and I relaxed. I took the seat next to her and grabbed her small hand.

She had cuts all over her and parts of her face was swollen. I was just staring at my poor girl when one of the machines started to beep and a nurse walked in.

"Good evening Miss. Rivers." she said and I said hello back. "She should be coming out of her coma soon and you are welcome to stay the night if you think she'd like it." that's all the nurse said while giving her another bag of fluids and she left.

I decided to lay my head down for a while so I don't wake her up till she's ready.

*Taylor's POV*

I felt myself stir around and finally opened my eyes. I was starring at the ceiling and I felt something squeeze my hand. I looked down to see Savannah asleep in a very uncomfortable position. I smiled and shook her gently to wake her up.

"Savannah, sweetheart." I whispered as I gently shook her. Her eyes fluttered open and looked up at me and stood up immediately. Her movement startled me and made me flinch a little.

"Oh I'm so sorry beautiful," she said softly as she stroked my cheek reminding me its okay and she won't hurt me, ever. "I'm so happy that your okay, I was so worried." she said and leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on my forehead. Savannah and I haven't had a lot of personal time together, in fact this was the first time we have really been alone besides in the forest and briefly at her house in her room. Here, there isn't any stress or problem at the moment besides the fact I have an IV in me and in a hospital, but I'm with her so I don't care.

"Babe?" Savannah said again.

"Yes?" I said, I didn't hear her the first time due to my rambling mind.

" How are you feeling? Do I need to get you a nurse? How about some water? Or maybe some food you are really skinny and I feel that-"

"Honey," I said to cut her off. "I'm fine." I smiled at her. Her rambling was so adorable.

"Are you sure babe?" she asked again and I knew for some reason she wouldn't stop till I agreed on sometimes.

" Some ice water sounds good honey." I said and she smiled and leaned forward and kissed my cheek and left my room.
