The sound of the heart monitors broke the silence, marking a steady rhythm, but it couldn't compete with the chaos that reigned in Benny Andersson's mind when he woke up in a room he didn't recognize, surrounded by faces that seemed strangely distant. Confusion enveloped him, like a thick fog that prevented him from seeing beyond the immediate. His head throbbed, each thought a monumental effort, as if his brain was struggling to connect with a reality that was slipping through his fingers.

Slowly, his memories began to emerge, like fragments of a broken dream. He remembered the glory days with ABBA, the concerts, the laughter, the songs that defined a generation. And then, the image of Frida formed in his mind: her smile, her voice, the way they used to look at each other when they believed the world belonged to them. She was an anchor in the midst of the whirlwind, a fixed point in time that he could hold on to.

But when a different woman approached his bed, whispering his name in a voice filled with love and concern, Benny felt the ground beneath his feet. He didn't know her, he didn't know who she was, and the boy who accompanied her looked at him with a mixture of fear and hope. Who were they? Why did they act as if they knew him?

Desperate, Benny tried to search his mind for an explanation, something that would make the pieces of this strange puzzle fit together. But his memory was an impenetrable void beyond 1979, an abyss where neither that woman nor the boy who claimed to be his son existed.

For Benny, the world had stopped spinning at a specific point in time, and what remained now was only a shadow of what it had been. As he struggled to understand, only one thing was clear: he needed his Frida by his side. She, the woman he remembered as his wife, must have the answers. Because in this new world, where past and present were mixed in a confusing tangle, only a love he believed eternal could give meaning to what was left of his life.

However, Benny did not yet know that the truth that awaited him would be more painful than amnesia itself. In this instant, with his mind trapped in a distant time, he was about to discover that the years he could not remember had changed not only him, but everyone he had ever loved.
