If only I had noticed your scars.

Those pale, soft pink scars on your skin.
There weren't many of them, just a few on your arms.

Your soul had way more scars, right?
Only they weren't visible to most people.

But I was close enough.
Close enough to see all of them.
And yet I didn't, at least not back then.

I should've noticed ... Only I didn't.
