"A Jeon, huh?"

The captain uttered with genuine amusement, his eyes widening as he witnessed the spectacle unfolding before him. The unveiling of Jungkook's arctic wolf form drew a curious crowd, eager to catch a glimpse of the infamous Arctic wolf werebeast.

"So the rumours are true; the Jeon family has arrived in Korea," the captain remarked, the weight of the revelation settling in the air like an unspoken prophecy.

"And the heir is attending HYBE International. Are you here to claim the Beastar title?" The polar bear scoffed, eyeing Jungkook with a mixture of scepticism and amusement as they stood in the bustling arena, surrounded by curious onlookers.

"Correct," Jungkook affirmed, his response hanging in the air like a charged declaration. An audible gasp rippled through the crowd.

"That's interesting. You do know who Kim Taehyung is, do you?" the captain inquired, a sly grin playing on his face.

At the mere mention of Taehyung's name, Jungkook's attention snapped toward the captain. "Yeah, I've heard of him. Never met him though. Still gonna become Beastar," Jungkook asserted.

"Foolish ambition. He is going to bring you down to your knees," the captain mocked, his laughter dripping with condescension.

Jungkook felt a spark of irritation at the dismissive comment. Knees? Him? The very idea made his fur bristle, and his ears flattened against his head in a display of defiance.

"Let's get this on, shall we? Don't let my name and werebeast distract you, Captain," Jungkook retorted, a fierce glint in his eyes as the challenge hung between them, the arena buzzing with anticipation.

"Is Daddy gonna pick your ass up from school once I beat you, pretty boy?" the captain taunted, a smirk playing on his lips.

Jungkook smirked, "The opposite actually,"

The entire team stood in awe, their mouths agape as Jungkook effortlessly defeated their captain. Witnessing their leader being outplayed was an embarrassing spectacle for everyone.

While it was undeniable that their captain possessed remarkable talent and skill in ice hockey, facing Jungkook made him appear surprisingly vulnerable.

But who could blame him? Jungkook's prowess in ice hockey was exceptional. On the ice, Jungkook moved like lightning—swift, calculated, and precise. His manoeuvres were executed with an effortless grace that left everyone astounded. It was as if the ice itself bowed to his command.

Not content with the mere victory, Jungkook added a touch of flair to his performance, incorporating tricks and bluffs that not only secured his triumph but also served to further humiliate their captain.

As expected, Jungkook emerged triumphant, causing the polar bear to reluctantly surrender his captain's sweater.

"You might want to consider a smaller size. This one's way too snug for your pint-sized wolf physique," mocked the ex-captain, Byeongho, with a scoff.

"Well, this little wolf just beat your ass. No worries, I'll grab a fresh one. This thing smells like sewage anyway," Jungkook retorted, casually dropping the contested sweater to the ground, a smirk playing on his lips as he locked eyes with the bruin.

Byeongho seethed with anger, but the public setting deterred him from retaliating against the new captain. Numerous onlookers, particularly a group of girls perched on the bleachers were staring at them. Some cheered for Jungkook's victory, amplifying the pressure on Byeongho.

Fuck, he would be so humiliated if his girlfriend found out how he lost to this newcomer.

"Alright, everyone, gather around. Team meeting," Jungkook declared. The team swiftly assembled before him, and he sighed before questioning if Byeongho was genuinely their best player, receiving unanimous nods in response.
