I ran alongside Midoriya. Once he said he knew where Kota was... I couldn't stand around and go back to camp with the others. I won't let him get hurt.

I heard him and ran faster. Midoriya activated his quirk to keep up with me. I informed him that Kota wasn't alone. Midoriya jumped in and grabbed Kota before the villain could land a punch on him.

"What are you doing?" Kota asked. Midoriya coughed. I slid in between the villains legs and ran over to Kota.

"Are you alright?" I cupped his face, wiping away a few Stray tears. He pushed my hands away and nodded. I sighed.

"Huh. Now you two, I recognize. You two were on the list." The villains said. Don't engage. I reminded myself. I glanced at Midoriya's broken phone. I left mine back at camp. It's all up to us.

"You really think you can save this little brat?" The villain laughed, "that does sound like something a wannabe hero would say. Your kind sure likes to mouth off about justice."

"The names Midoriya, right? Perfect. We were told we could take some initiative and kill you." The villain activated his quirk, "But first, a little torment. Show me your blood."

"Oh, and don't worry, little girl. As long as you stay out of the fight, I won't have to kill you. Just go and run back to Daddy." He laughed. I glared at him. The villain attacked Midoriya. He got thrown back into the rocks.

"Oh, yeah. Hey. Maybe you can help me out a little bit first. Do you know where a kid named Bakugo might be around here? I still have a job to do, after all." He said. What the hell does he want with Bakugo? The villain continued to attack Midoriya. What do I do? I bit my lip.

"Kota. Cover your ears." I said. He nodded and did as I said. I stood up and glared at the villain's back. God, I hope this works.

"Leave him alone!" I screamed. My voice projected out, making the villain cover his ears. But it wasn't loud enough. Why wasn't it loud enough? Shit... what do I do?

"Stupid girl... I gave you a chance." He turned around and grabbed my hair, lifting me off the ground.

"Ngh..." I winced. My feet dangled as I tried to get out of his grip.

"Now it's your turn. I want to see you bleed." He smirked evily.  That's when Midoriya punched the villain's back. The villain dropped me and went back to attacking Midoriya.

I pulled out a pistol from its holster under my gym skirt. The gun was a birthday gift from Snipe last year. He taught me how to use it and everything. I brought it so I could practice. I never thought I would be using it to shoot at an actual person. I aimed carefully. Please don't hit. Midoriya...

I pulled the trigger and sent two shots at the villain, hitting him twice in one leg. He turned around, glaring at me. He started charging at me, and I shot him multiple times in the legs and arms. It was like none of the bullets were hurting him. They had to at least break through some of the layers of muscle.

"Guns aren't very lady like." He grabbed my pistol from my hand and crushed it in his hands. Oh shit. He grabbed my throat and lifted me off the ground. My hands grabbed onto his, trying to get his hands off my throat. His grip got tighter, choking me.

"I'll let you go if you repeat after me. I'm sorry for hurting you, Mr. Muscular." He said. I glanced at Midoriya, who was on the ground, holding his bleeding face.

"Fuck... you..." I spit in his face. He slammed me against the rock wall. I gasped out for air, but his hand was blocking my airway. Tears welled up in my eyes, and my chest started to burn. Suddenly, a rock hit the villain. It wasn't a big rock, more like a pebble.

"Remember Water Hose?" Kota spoke up. Stop. What are you doing?

"My mom and my dad. Did you torment the two of them, too? Before you killed them!?" Kota shouted at the villain. My vision started to get blurry. Kota...

"Huh? Seriously? Those losers were your parents? Well, then, this must be fate. The Water Hose heroes..." he said, "They're the reason I have an artificial eye in my left socket right now."

"Thus is all your fault. Nothing in the world is right anymore, and it's because of crazy people like you!" Kota shouted.

"Little kids are always so quick to say it's someone else's fault. Don't get the wrong idea. It's not like I took them out cause I was mad about the eye thing. I wanted to kill people." He said, "it's as simple as that. And those two tried to stop me."

My hearing started going in and out. Was I going to die? I don't want Kota to see me die. I don't want him to think it was his fault. Kota... I'm sorry...

Suddenly, the villain let go of my throat, and I fell to the ground with a thud. I coughed, gasping for air. My senses finally came back, and I saw Midoriya fighting the muscle man. He had a strange look on his face. I stood up and began walking over to Kota when a giant gush of wind came around. I rushed over and grabbed the back of Kota's shirt at the last second. He almost fell off the cliff.

Midoriya walked over, "Are you two okay?" I held onto Kota rightly, nodding. He nodded and gave me a thumbs up.

The villain jumped back out from a giant crater in the cliffside. Fuck. What the hell is with this guy? Midoriya dodged around the cliff, with Kota on his back before getting knocked down. I rubbed my aching neck. I needed to help him. What else do I have on me? I checked my pockets. A dagger. That'll work.

As Midoriya sent a giant punch at the villain, blocking him away from Kota. The muscles started to trap my classmate. I jumped inyoy he fight, slicing at the muscles. But it wasn't enough. I started tearing up as Midoriya got buried. Is he... dead?

"Midoriya..?" I spoke up, my voice was hoarse. My bottom lip started to tremble. That's when Klta splashed the villain with his quirk. It wasn't strong, but he tried.

"Stop. Let him go!" Kota yelled. Suddenly, Midoriya started rising from under the villain. He punched the villain and blasted him into the rocks.

"Why did you risk your life?" Kota started to cry, "Even though... you don't know me at all. Why did you try to save me?"

Midoriya let out a yell. I couldn't tell if it was a yell of victory or pain. Maybe both. I stood up and ran over to him. Engulfing him in a hug. Thank you, Midoriya.

My hero...
