The elevator opened its doors, revealing Toman's executives, and the man himself, Kisaki. He stepped out of the elevator and walked up to the woman waiting for their arrival. "Y/N, I can't imagine a better way of being greeted than you blessing us with your presence.", he said, caressing her face."Welcome, I am glad to see you decided to come tonight after all.", she greeted him. "Hmph. Well of course, I don't think I would have been able to sleep without seeing your beautiful face.", he said, leaning in almost brushing his lips against her right cheek.
"Kisaki," a man with a scar that ran from the top of his head down to the upper left side of his face, spoke up, stopping Kisaki from leaning into her face more. Kisaki turned slightly to look at him, "We should start going over the deals from the potential business partners for tomorrow." Kisaki looked at him for a moment and sighed, "Let's go.", he said, removing his hand from Y/N's face.
The men started walking inside, Y/N stepped aside watching them. The man with the scar looked at her briefly before giving her a slight nod. "You really know how to have them wrapped around your finger, don't you?", she winced at the voice behind her. Turning to see none other than Kisaki's right hand pawn, Hanma Shuji.
"I think I'm starting to realize what they see in you. I guess the mere sight and dream of having you in their bed is what makes them want you.", he said, blowing out smoke from his cigarette. "Smoking isn't allowed in here, please put it out or you will disturb the clients.", she said, turning around to return inside the host club. He grabbed her wrist stopping her.
"Don't act like you're so good, Y/N. Who knows how many of these old fucks that come here you have slept with.", he said, giving her one of those disgusting smirks she could not stand. She pulled her arm away from his grip, "I'm not like the sluts you're used to accommodating."
Shuji couldn't help but smirk at her words as she continued walking. He took one last drag from his cigarette before throwing it on the floor and putting it out with his foot. "Clean this up will you?", he said to one of the employees. "Yes sir." they replied.
Y/N watched as Kisaki and Kakucho, the man with the scar, walked to the back where Kisaki's office was. Followed by Hanma shortly after. She went to sit at the bar to ease her tension, her nerves a bit. "Long night?" Yoshiro, one of the bartenders asked her. She looked up to him, " I suppose. Just feeling exhausted.", she looked back down while she placed her hand under her chin.
"Here, it's on me.", he said, putting a drink in front of her. She took the glass, and took a sip. "Thanks, Yoshiro.", she smiled and he nodded in response. She couldn't help but only think about what Naoto had told her, 'Please consider what I said. I really do think we have a good chance here.'
'If only it were that easy, Naoto.', she thought to herself while taking another drink from the martini Yoshiro made for her. She knew it was not going to be easy, whatever it was they were planning on doing. Even though she has been helping Naoto, the information she has given has mostly led to arrests of grunts, lowlifes that Kisaki could care less about. It seemed like no matter how hard she tried nothing worked to get something that could really put an end to all this. To ensure that Kisaki would be imprisoned, it was just not possible.
She began to accept the fact that she would never get away from him. His hold on her was too strong to easily break free from. The month that she disappeared, as Naoto pointed out, was because Kisaki kept her away from the club. She felt deep inside that his reasons for doing so were not just because she deserved time off, but something more. She had her suspicions; she needed to be careful. Any wrong move, and Naoto would pay the price. She would pay the price.
"Do you mind if I join you?"asked the man beside her, breaking her from her thoughts. She looked up at him, 'Kakucho'. "Go ahead, but I'll count this as part of my commission.", she said, taking another drink of her martini. The man gave a soft laugh while sitting down, "Of course. I don't mind." "What will you have sir?", asked Yoshiro, "Whiskey on the rocks. Thanks.", Kakucho replied. "Wow, how cheap.", Y/N said jokingly.
