Hoseok felt his heart beat getting steadier by the minute as he held Taehyung's hands. A wave of relief washes over the black haired boy as he realises Taehyung was correct. His mother loved seeing him dance and even used to record him. All the good memories were tainted by the horrible pictures of that traumatic day.
The school bell rang pulling the duo away from their intense staring competition. Hoseok finally flashed a smile in Taehyung's way for the first time in months and the blonde could hear his heart beating loudly in his chest. "You are really different from the image I had in my mind" Hoseok said making Taehyung puzzled. "You are a very comforting person. I think I might have found a new replacement for my anxiety pills" Hoseok joked while laughing. His thin lips formed the biggest smile Taehyung has ever seen. The breeze made his black hair sway while the sun hit his perfect cheekbones.
Ah shit, I might be in love. Taehyung thought to himself.
The next morning Hoseok entered the classroom feeling a bit awkward because of yesterday's incident. Taehyung on the other hand did not care about that, he was excited to grow the new formed friendship. "Good morning!" Taehyung greeted Hoseok with his famous box smile that caused butterflies in everyone's stomach. Hoseok nodded back to be polite, still unsure about what to make of the situation.
Days went by and their awkward exchanges quickly blossomed into a strong bond due to Taehyung's persistence. The duo ate lunch everyday and Taehyung stuck close to Hoseok making sure he always finishes till the last bite. He felt like he had to nurse the boy back to health after what he went through.
Hoseok was astonished everytime Taehyung interacted with him. He did not know what attracted the blonde head to him but he was glad he had a friend to talk to. Their topics were always random, they both did not bring up what happened in the school's washroom that day. Hoseok realized as he spent more and more time with Taehyung that he was indeed very handsome. His tanned skin complimented his blonde hair, his little moles looked like God placed it after careful consideration, his box smile could melt even grown men's heart and his chocolate brown eyes were always filled with curiosity. Hoseok's heart skipped a beat everytime Taehyung inched closer to him. It was an unfamiliar feeling to him as he never felt this way about anyone. Maybe Taehyung's beauty clouded his mind and judgement.
Taehyung on the other hand was in awe of Hoseok everyday. He realised the more he talked to the boy the harder he was falling. He was convinced if there was an angel on this earth it would be Jung Hoseok. He could feel his heart racing everytime the black haired boy smiled at him or their hands gazed against each other. Taehyung never questioned why he was falling for Hoseok because it seemed so natural to him like a fish that knows how to swim in the water. He could see that Hoseok was slowly recovering. He was eating regularly, his honey complexion was returning and he laughed a lot more. But Taehyung was oblivious. He only believed what he saw from the outside.
