A little kid whose face was a empty mask was standing right next to his mother who had long, dark green hair and light green eyes. His right cheek was bruised and you could see red marks on his throat, presumably because someone tried to choke him.

This child was Izuku Midoriya, currently four years old and waiting for his quirk to be discovered. He was by no means normal.

When he had been born, he hadn't made even a sound and for a short time, Inko feared that he had been born dead. Luckily, that assumption proved to be wrong. Perhaps she should have already realised that it wasn't unusual, but he was her first and only child.

The doctors and so on also checked him, but he was a healthy little boy. Perhaps he was mute or something, they said.

That proved to be wrong, too. When her son was barely three months old, he already could form a whole sentence, which lead his mother to believe that he had an intelligence-based type of quirk.

Despite these quirks being seen as nearly at the bottom, it still was better than being quirkless. Alone the thought of her baby being hurt and bullied made her feel pure fear.

"Izuku Midoriya?", the vibrant voice of the doctor vibrated through the room as he smiled at them, telling her that she should wait outside.

She didn't move, afraid that he'd do something to her baby, but after talking with him for a bit, she went outside and breathed in the fresh, cold air.

The time she was waiting felt like an eternity and she feared that something was wrong.

Then, the doctor opened the door and next to him was Izuku, whose face was as cold as always. But in his eyes, a roaring fire was visible.

Inko smiled at her son and softly told him to go to her friend Mitsuki and her son, Katsuki. She wanted to know what his quirk was, but didn't want him to be present.

"Doctor?", she questioned the man who was clothed in a white coat, his eyes widened.

"He has two quirks", stated the doctor. "But I would advise you to just talk about one of them. I don't believe in this whole 'Villainous Quirk'-bullshit, but if you want him to live a happy life, I'd recommend you not to."

"What are these quirks anyway?", asked Inko, her nerves lying blank.

"One of them is Strategic Prowess. This allows him to be very strong and fast. The smarter he is, the greater his physical abilities are. As far as I've seen it, that won't be a problem for him. However...", the doctor trailed off.

"However what?", hissed Inko who barely could control her telekinesis from going berserk.

"He isn't able to feel. If enough, you'd probably make him feel these emotions so weak that it's like they aren't even there. It's useful for his strategic abilities since he won't have problems sacrificing people."

Inko let out a silent sob. No.. not her baby. He deserved to feel! What was live for him if he couldn't even feel a thing?!

"The other quirk is Absolute Control", said the doctor who had paled slightly. "It allows him to control the blood of living beings. Of course, it won't be that easy and all since that takes a lot of power and he'll probably needs to train very much to control a kid without coughing blood."

Inko paled. Her son was a monster..? No! He wasn't! She'd teach him how to us his powers for good!

She turned around and left, going straight to Mitsuki before she grabbed Izuku's arm and pulled him with her.

She'd make sure he wouldn't become a monsterWhatever it would take.
