Unexpectedly, this time, they were much more efficient. Within an hour, Miruko, the nr.5 hero arrived together with Aizawa and Midnight, followed by people from the police."We'll have to take you in for questioning, as your mother's death has been confirmed", said a black-haired woman with yellow eyes.
"Okay", he answered.
As they walked, he looked around. The police station was very clean and organised, the walls white or out of glass. A few of the other police people disappeared, probably to seziere his mother. He didn't feel a thing.
Izuku sat down on the desk opposite the black-haired woman with yellow eyes who smiled at him. Besides his mother, she was the only one who did it out of kindness and not anything else. 'You don't need to work as a hero to be a true hero', he thought, remembering a quote of the Hero Killer Stain.
"-id", the woman's voice broke through his daze. "What's your name?"
"...Izuku Midpriya", he answered, his green eyes piercing through the woman.
"Nice to meet you, Izuku. My name is Officer Akiro and my quirk is called »Sea of Truth«. It allows me to know when a person is lying, but it also forces the person to say the truth if I look at them. Are you ready..?"
"......yes."
"Good. Who are your parents?", she asked, her eyes glowing slightly.
'Probably because of her quirk', he thought. 'It would make a great addition to my notes! I have to ask her afterwards.'
"Hisashi Midlriya and Inko Midoriya."
"Why did your father not come here? Right now, the news of a woman dying and leaving back a 14-years old boy is everywhere in the news", stated Akiro.
"He's working overseas to give my mother and me financial stability and support."
""When did you last see him?", the woman asked, a hint of worry visible in her face.
"Hm...probably when I was four?"
"..." The woman didn't say a word.
1 Minute.
2 Minutes.
3 Minutes.
4 Minutes.
5 Minutes."Akiro-san. Are you okay?", Izuku asked, his voice monotone and emotionless - as always.
"Yes, I am. Forgive me for staying silent so long, Izuku. Let's continue. What school are you going to?"
"Aldera Junior High."
"Do you have a good relationship with your classmates?"
"No. Most of the, bully me."
"Why?"
"Because I didn't help a dying person."
"For what reason?"
"I wasn't powerful enough to save them."
"That's okay. You're a kid, you aren't supposed to save anybody."
"That's the first time I've heard someone say something like that", Izuku said, but in his usually empty voice now as an underlying tone of... surprise.
"I know", Akiro-san answered. "It's my opinion and not many people share this nowadays."
"As me the questions you wanted to ask me the whole time."
"Are you sure? I don't want to cause an overstimulation or stress in your brain. We don't have many of them, after all."
"It's fine."
Akiro-san sighed. "Okay. Are you ready?"
Izuku nodded. "Yes."

Feelings that don't exist
FanfictionIzuku Midoriya had been an odd kid since he was born. He never laughed, cried or screamed. He was quiet, observant and did not understand why the people around him show feelings. The reason for this was the fact that he did not have them.
