Dancing In The Moonlight I

Prologue.

"I have loved you since the moment I laid eyes on you." That's what we heard from the Prom movie in Netflix. We were watching lang to pass the time.

Hello! I'm Alaire Cadalińa, a Fashion Designer student, 2nd year. 24 years old.

I also work as a cafe owner of "Luxury Petals and Boutique."

I always dreamed what it would be like to be a character of a novel, that changed when I met Ms. Yareli Alicante, my wife.

We didn't fall in love at first, and it was fully arranged, we accepted it for the betterment of our future.

I can say that it's different at some days when I go back home or to my condo, and I see my professor at night or mid-day working on her own things.

"What are you looking at?"

- she asked when I looked at her desk..

I was just looking for my missing earring.

"I was looking for my missing earring." I said.

"Let me help you, my workplace isn't as cozy as I expected it would be."
she said with her cold demeanor.

"Okay, po." I sat down on the couch near her work area.

She was still looking for it.

I stood up as soon as she was looking for it in the ground. I placed my hand under the table so she doesn't bump her head.

She stood up and thanked me.

"What was the shape of the earring?"

I said to her that it was a puppy dog with an umbrella on the side.

It's actually the one her mom gave me last time I went to see them.

She knew that it was special to me. She kept looking, and didn't stop.

"Yali.."

"You don't have to look for it, it's fine."

She stood up and fixed her posture.

"I'll buy you another earrings, and I'll tell my mom that your earring needed a replacement because your allergic to fake ones."

"Is that good with you?"

I felt bad, she looked so sweaty na..

I went to our room, and I took a face towel.

Phew when I checked she was still there but in her workplace.

"Yareli, can you move a bit please?"

She did, and so I placed the towel towards her neck. I placed the towel towards her front collarbone because she was sweating.. then I felt she put her hands on my waist. She moved a bit to give me access.. wait what am I saying??

When I looked at her, she was sleeping..??

I let her sleep there first.

I went to cook, well u see I tried, at least I made rice ✨.

She was still sound asleep, I tapped her shoulder, "Wake up, Yareli.. wake up."

"What?" she said in a soft tone.

I said , "Let's have a warm bath."

"I mean a cold one, whichever works."

"Sure."

I took that cue, to go set up the bath.

I went to the bathroom, and I looked around, it was very clean, like wow.

After a few minutes of setting up..

She brought champagne and two glasses.

She was already in a robe, I haven't changed yet.

She got in once the bubbles started coming.

"Are you coming in, Lair?"

"Yup! Wait.."

I took off my clothes, and I thought for a second, if I should remove my brassiere and my undies.

"Do you need my help? You can keep it on if you're more comfortable with that."

ganyan sha, that's why I have a soft heart for her.

I took off my brassiere and undies.

She showed her hand, it was full of bubbles, "Give me your hand, place your hand on mine. I'll help you."

I held onto her hand, and she helped me, we faced each other.

She breathed deeply. "Did you have a rough day?"

"Yes. I have a night meeting too."

"Right now po?"

"Later at 10:00pm."

I was wanting to ask why but I don't think I have the right too-

Then she said, "It's in the museum across two blocks from here. Do you want to come?"

"Are you sure I can come?"

"You can accompany me."

"Okay then I will!"

She took the champagne and added it to the first glass and gave it to me.

She drank too, and we toasted to our more years together.

"Can we try something, Alaire?"

"Hmm? What is it?"

"Close your eyes."

I did and she moved closer to me, she pecked my cheek, and put a bubble on my nose.

"Hahaha, you have a bubble on your nose!"

"Why?"

"Just, why?"

"You seemed so serious, but you should be enjoying this bath time with me."

"I guess so.. I also have a lot to think about."

"Say, you take it away from your mind, and I'll treat you to something sweet later?"

"Deal?"

She took out her pinky promise.

I pinky promised her too.

"Sure, deal."

"Do you mind if I wear our ring?"

She means the marriage ring..

"No, you can wear it. I always wear it too."

"Hmm? Do you feel somethings for me?"

I gulped.

"I.."

"You don't have to answer right now, I love your reaction tho lair!"

"Hahaha."

She laughed at me ><.
