The tension in the room was palpable, a silent battle raging between Jimin and Chaewon. Yoongi, caught in the crossfire, seemed oblivious to the undercurrents. He continued eating, his movements slow and deliberate.

Jimin's eyes darted between the two of them, a storm brewing within him. He wanted to confront Yoongi, to demand answers, to reclaim what was rightfully his. But the words were trapped in his throat, choked by a mix of fear and anger.

"Your cooking is incredible, Jimin. Now I understand why your booth was so popular at the event," Chaewon said, trying to lighten the mood.

Jimin smiled, but a flicker of sadness crossed his face. Cooking was his passion, and praise always warmed his heart. However, the memory of the event brought back painful reminders of the past two years, when he had seen Yoongi with someone else.

Shaking off the negative thoughts, Jimin focused on the present. "Thank you for your kind words," he replied, his voice filled with gratitude. "I'm glad you enjoyed the food."

The meal continued in a tense silence, broken only by the occasional clinking of cutlery.

Jimin's eyes kept darting between Yoongi and Chaewon, searching for any sign of reconciliation, any hint of the love they once shared. But Yoongi remained aloof, his gaze fixed on his plate.

As the meal drew to a close, Chaewon stood up, her smile bright and artificial.

"Thank you for the delicious dinner, Jimin," she said, her voice dripping with saccharine sweetness. "I'm so glad we decided to stay here.

Jimin nodded, his heart heavy. He knew that Chaewon's presence was a constant reminder of his loss, a constant reminder of the love he had lost. As she walked away,

he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. He knew that the worst was yet to come.

Jimin's gaze followed Chaewon as she disappeared into the bathroom, his mind preoccupied with her presence. He was so lost in thought that he failed to notice Yoongi's intense scrutiny.

A storm of unreadable emotions swirled in Yoongi's eyes, a silent battle between desire and hesitation. He yearned to pull Jimin close, to envelop him in a comforting embrace, but the memory of their shattered relationship held him back.

The uncertainty of Jimin's feelings, coupled with the fear of rejection, paralyzed him.

Yoongi's heart pounded in his chest as he watched Jimin's attention drift away. He yearned to reach out, to bridge the chasm that had grown between them.

But his hesitation was rooted deep, a fear of rejection that had become a constant companion. He was a man who had always been in control, but in the face of his feelings for Jimin, he felt utterly powerless.

As Chaewon disappeared into the bathroom, Yoongi's gaze shifted to Jimin. His eyes, filled with a mix of longing and regret, held a silent plea.

If given the chance, he would have pulled Jimin close, would have whispered words of love and apology. But the fear of being rebuffed was too great, too overwhelming. He could only watch helplessly as the distance between them grew.

"So... h-how will you both sleep?" Jimin asked, breaking the tense silence. His voice was barely audible, a whisper lost in the heavy atmosphere.

Chaewon glanced at Yoongi, then back at Jimin, a sly smile playing on her lips. "It's your house, Jimin. You tell us," she replied, flipping her phone in her pocket.

Jimin hesitated, his words a forced attempt at casualness. "Well, my house is small. There are only two bedrooms. If you want, you both can sleep in this room, and I'll sleep in the other."

The thought of Yoongi sharing a bed with someone else in his own home was a bitter pill to swallow. But Jimin knew he had no choice. He was the host, and it was his responsibility to accommodate his guests.

Chaewon's response was unexpected. "No, I think I'll sleep in the other room. You and Yoongi can sleep together. You're friends, right? I hope that won't be a problem." Her words were casual, almost nonchalant, but they sent a jolt of excitement through Jimin.

The prospect of sleeping with Yoongi again, after so long, filled him with a strange sense of anticipation. However, Yoongi's expression was a blank slate, offering no clues as to his feelings. Jimin wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do.

The room fell into a heavy silence, the only sound the ticking of the clock. Jimin's heart raced, a whirlwind of emotions swirling within him. He wanted to reach out to Yoongi, to tell him how much he missed him, how much he longed for their old life. But the fear of rejection held him back, a ghost haunting the corridors of his mind.

Yoongi, too, was caught in a storm of emotions. He felt a strange pull towards Jimin, a desire to be close to him. But the memory of their shattered relationship, coupled with the presence of Chaewon, made him hesitate. He was afraid of taking a step forward only to be pushed back.

Finally, Jimin broke the silence. "I-I think that's a good idea," he stammered, his voice barely a whisper. The words were a declaration of his feelings, a desperate plea for a second chance.

Yoongi's heart skipped a beat. He looked at Jimin, his eyes filled with a mix of longing and uncertainty. He wanted to say yes, to take that leap of faith. But the fear of rejection was too strong, too overwhelming.

"I'm fine with that," Yoongi's voice was flat, a mask of indifference hiding the whirlwind of emotions swirling within him.

He didn't want to reveal the joy that filled his heart at the prospect of sharing a room with Jimin. It was a secret he guarded closely, a fragile hope that dared not be spoken aloud.

Just as Jimin felt a surge of excitement, so too did Yoongi. His heart pounded in his chest, a rhythm that echoed the beat of his desire. But the fear of rejection, a constant companion, held him back.

The unspoken words are the real walls between Yoongi and Jimin according to me. What do you all think?
