Derek Angst HCs

TW: Child abuse, depression, grooming (not the sexual kind), bullying and child neglect

- He had a very difficult and a rough childhood as he lives with a very strict and abusive businessmen of a father and a regular housewife of a mother.

- His dad would always abuse him and pressure him on being apart of his business company 24/7.

- If he doesn't get good grades or makes a mistake, even when it's a minor mistake, his dad would often give him belt beatings, pouring hot water on him and give ruler beatings.

- His mom tried to stop his father from hurting him but he pushes her and tells her to get out of his way.

- His dad always degrade him and call him hurtful words like failure, mistake, a regret and lots more, which makes Derek very depressed and he secretly has very low self-esteem.

- He is also neglected by his dad as well, especially when he tried to tell him about the bullying that he went through but his dad would always that he deserve it for provoking them or saying that he needs to stop making excuses, and even saying that he is only telling him this because he doesn't care about the company.

- He often gets bullied every single at school and he always come back from school with bruises and injuries and his mom takes care of the injuries since she is the only one who cares for him.

- He hides depression and insecurity with his cynical and prideful personality as a facade.

- He got assaulted by one of his tutors and the teacher arrested the tutor after he found the bruises on Derek's body.

- When his dad find out about it, he did NOT take that lightly and he started to "lecture" him about he ruined the company's reputation and he started beating him up, his mom came back found out on what her husband was doing and she finally snapped by yelling at him and pushing by yelling the words "GET AWAY FROM HIM".

- His parents got into an argument and his mom said that she wants a divorce and she decided to call the police on her now ex-husband by arresting him for child neglect and child abuse, and Derek and his mom are now finally living in peace without him and she promised her son that she will try to be a better parent for him, just for Derek's sake and his mental health.
