He could hear the soft snores coming from your side of the bed. They made him smile and softly giggle. Caressing your cheek that would have made you blush if you were looking at him. He was his happiest when he was with you, He could only imagine seeing you smile with warm rosey cheeks laughing at a lame joke that was being told or when you remembered something completely ridiculous.
