I should've known. I shouldn't have trusted him. There was an eerie feeling to him, and I ignored it. I killed everyone I loved because of him. He looked at me behind prison bars.
"I finally got you." He spat, smiling at me. He laughed, cold and bitterly. It rang through the air and bounced off the concrete walls.
"How could you?" I said softly, wincing at how vulnerable I sounded.
"Because you're a monster." He snapped, looking at me. "Because you killed everyone you loved." He grinned, toying with a chain watch.
"You offered me a life!" I growled. He told me I would be loved, that I would have a place. He tricked me.
"I guess our lips can both do magical things." He laughed. I lunged across the bars and tried to choke him, with no luck.
"You really think you can do that, princess?" He said, cupping my cheek in his hand.
"I could kill you in three seconds if I wanted to!" I shouted at him.
"I know, but you wouldn't. You love me too much." And with that he walked out. But what he didn't know is that he ignited a fire inside of me. A fire so wild it would never be extinguished.
