When the fireworks begin: Best friends & Love(winter and faith)

Faith waited for winter to come home from school . She read sires book on fairies and vampires. She wondered if they existed. Faith hoped they did . She then saw Veshnozel come to guard her. She then began to ask him questions.
"Zel! "
"Yes princess?"
"Have you met any sith?" Faith asked and Veshnozel looked at her startled.
"Have you?"
"No. I was just reading about them and I wondered if they are still alive somewhere.  Sense you are a fairy and all."
"Half." Veshnozel answered.
"Oh? What is the other half then?" Faith asked excited.
".....you people call it vampire fairies....we call it baobahn sith." Veshnozel answered .
"Are you ashamed.  "
"No. Can we talk about something else  ."  Veshnozel interrupted sternly and Faith was hurt.
"Sorry. .....I didn't mean to offend you sure Veshnozel. " Faith whispered.
"No trouble your highness. " Veshnozel stood guard in silence.  Faith then sighed and said.
"I won't say anything after This about it. " Faith promised 
"Proceed. "
"I think all species are beautiful and from one half breed to another its unique and special.  Something to be taught not hidden.  It's like a diamond in the bottom of a mine. " Faith said and she was silent.
"Thank you your highness . You're very kind." Veshnozel answered meaning it. Faith nodded with a smile.  She then fell asleep.  Veshnozel hoped she'd be blessed and cherished forever . Her heart of good was the diamond.  He understood the families protection of her.  He noticed her beauty. He happened to be 3 years older in human time. But in his age he was 120 years old. He slowly walked towards her and looked at her more. 
"Zel? Oh there you are!" Winter greeted.
"Hello ."
"When did you come back?"
"Sense last night. "
"How's she doing?" Winter asked sitting with her best friend. 
"She's just resting for now. "
"You okay? You seem .....distant. " Winter asked.
"I'm alright. " he answered walking away. Veshnozel left trying to stop himself from feeling again.  Faith would age and she'd die like his first wife.  He then flew away.
.....
Faith and Winter chatted about Adam.
"He's perfect!"
"What about you?" Winter asked her as Veshnozel arrived to guard her sense amir took his post.
"Don't worry......I'm not much for wanting love......it's too painful......and besides if something happened to the one I love.....I wouldn't love ever again."
"What if he's immortal?" Winter asked.
"Hm. If he was then id still say no."
"Why?"
"Because he'd have to watch me die and our children die. That's so sad." Faith started to cry and Winter hugged her.  Veshnozel smiled at her caring nature.  "But if he doesn't care I won't care and then we can climb the highest mountain's,  go fishing and do all adventurous things together because we are just that awesome  ." Faith said with such enchantment.
"Not as awesome as me and my person but you may dream." Winter Said and they began wrestling. Faith then ran behind Veshnozel begging him to protect her.
"This isn't ny fight dear." Veshnozel answered and faith froze and noticed him smirking.
"You have a nice smile. " faith said to him  .
"Thank you ." He simply answered  .
"I'm hungry now let's get food Veshnozel come with us and I won't take no for an answer!" Faith said and he followed.  Winter could tell these two had lots of chemistry.  She then looked through his and faiths heart and it was true they were falling for each other.

Winter then waited until faith went home to talk with him.
"Zel. From friend to friend.....do you like faith?"
"....what?"
"Do you like her? It's cool if you do you are like 20 in human years......but like you're 120. And she's 17 she'll be 18 next week  ." Winter Said and Veshnozel looked at her.
"I'm not sure she feels as I do. She is very oblivious to it ."
"Yeah that's just faith.  She thinks no one is ever going to like her and she thinks she's less beautiful than the rest of the world. " Winter shrugged.
"Why?"
".....I don't know. Maybe that's something  .....she'll share with someone she  falls for." Winter Said and she then went to Veshnozel. "Treat her nice.  She deserves it.  More than anyone I know  . Even if you two never admit it be her best friend and show her what she deserves atleast. Good night. " Winter concluded and went to bed.

Faith lay awake thinking of Veshnozel.  She wondered if he actually hated himself.  It made ger sad to know he possibly did. He came back to guard her sense her parents left for the weekend.  Faith sat up and turned to him.
"Can we talk?" Faith whispered.
"......if you'd like. " Veshnozel answered  .
"Yay. Sit here." Faith cheered moving aside.  He teleported next to her and faith thought that was cool. "Is that your fairy or vampire side showing?"
"Both." They then laugh together.
"Do you like yourself?" Faith asked suddenly.
"....sometimes I do.....sometimes I don't?"
"What's the don't?" Faith asked.  "Wait. ....that's if you want to share. I don't want to be nosey."  Faith said and he nodded.
"You are fine dear . The reason's I don't have a lot to do with my past. Who I was before I met the princess of shirestone. 105 years of doing wrong seems a bit backwards and so much time wasted. It makes me wonder if I lived as a dead man." Veshnozel answered.
"Wow......that was deep." Faith said.
"Sorry. "
"No. Don't be sorry. I relate to you......can I tell you a secret?"
"You trust me?" Veshnozel asked. They looked into each other's eyes . "So easily?" Veshnozel continued. She smiled.
"Something in me says I should.  I think it's God speaking.  So I'm gonna listen."  Faith said with compassion .
"Then yes you can tell me ."
"Good. Well I don't like myself at all. I never do. It's only because when I was younger my mother just handed me over like I didn't Matter.  And as I got older I wondered if I was really that precious then who can possibly do that without feeling anything? I wouldn't. So i.....I don't know if I'm....worthy to be loved or liked." Faith said and she had tears. Veshnozel wiped them and he then kissed her lips. Faith looked at him in shock.
"Sorry. "
"No i...."
"I must go my shift is completed princess. " Veshnozel stood and left. Faith thought of the kiss and she felt butterflies.
