I sprinted after Rabbit and almost crashed into him because he came to an unexpected halt.
"Why did-" he raised a hand to stop me from speaking any further
I heard a noise that sounded like someone cutting a loaf of bread. Sure enough there was a group of bread and butterflies.
Rabbit looked up at me with grave dark eyes and pulled out his pocket watch swinging it in circles above his head by the chain, he hit all of the bread and butterflies!
"Rabbit why would you do that!"
"We needed food Alice, it was them or us" Rabbit spoke quickly handing me a wing from the creatures he just struck down. I was hesitant but eventually ate it letting the bread settle in my stomach before running after Rabbit again.
