You gasp. "1,000,000,000 JENNY!?"
"Yes, and they specifically asked for you. Can you believe it? I'm so proud!"
Your father spun you around while squeezing you in a fatherly hug.
You thought for a second. Who on this earth needs to be killed that badly? That much Jenny worries you.
"Father?" You asked not making eye contact. He sets you down, seeing the serious look on your face.
"Yes?"
"Why is this person paying so much money?" Your father was silent for a while. He finally knelt down so your faces were level.
"Because, the man you're after is very strong." He sighed. "You will have to go through months of training to even be near his level."
"Then why didn't he just hire you or mom so that he would be gone faster?"
"Because."
"Because why?" You looked at your father. You're sure everyone in the house can feel the tension in the air.
"Because I told him you were best for the job."
"WWHHHHAAATTT!?" You yelled. "YOU TOLD HIM WHATTT!?" Your father laughed.
"Don't worry, I know how you can get stronger." Your father said with a genuine smile.
"How?" You ask.
Your father looked into your (E/C) eyes. "The hunter exam."
