Marjories perspective
I sat in the office with Autumn, we wanted to go home to see our lovers but the day couldn't go any faster
I sat rubbing my temples "Autumn do you have those painkillers?
She tossed me a box "thanks" I replied, I reached for my water bottle and gulped it down until the door swung open,
"MARJORIE WHY IS THERE ANOTHER FEE INCREASE" the parent yelled
I could not deal with this" look I don't control the fees okay" I said as I looked at Autumn I could tell she was getting angry
"WELL TELL YOUR BOSS TO STOP THEN"
I groaned , Autumn yelled to tell her to get out but she would not budge, Autumn used force and pushed her out of the office and into the wall , but she did not give up at this point it was just getting annoying, we had enough and autumn had left but I had to get my lunch out my bag, the parent walked behind my and said something that I wouldn't forget
"Of course you need food" my heart stopped
I heard the door slam behind me.
Was she joking?
Thoughts raced around my head, my first instinct was to throw my wrap in the bin
I stumbled towards the wall and made myself as small as possible, I couldn't think with all these thoughts " am I really fat, why does Reece like me"
My breathing had sped up and I couldn't hear anything except my own breathing, I heard a massive slam and I knew who it was
Autumns perspective
I had just walked out of the bathroom and was heading back to the office, but that parent kept smirking at me
She walked by me so I stuck my foot and she tripped over, I let out a laugh and entered the office but what I saw shocked me
My colleague well my best friend sat against the wall
She looked as if she was having a panic attack I ran towards her and crouched next to her , she was mumbling something like "I'm too fat" I reached out my hand to help but she violently flinched, after like 10 minutes I had calmed her down but she just broke down in my arms saying" she didn't deserve Reece " my heart broke, I couldn't believe my best friend was crying
I locked the door behind us so no one would see us, now normally I wouldn't let anyway hug me but she needed it , she lay her head against my chest and sobbed, until she stopped I asked if she wanted to go home
She nodded I had to go for a second to ask if Charlotte was fine with me going for a bit, "of course if you don't mind me asking what happened" she said sounding puzzled I told her what happened and she bombarded me with questions if Marjorie was okay
"Yes Charlotte and that will be me off so bye"
I held marjories arm to help her to my car, I scooped her up and placed her in the passenger seat, she looked at me and said "thank you Autumn" I hugged her
"That's what friends are for"
We arrived at reeces house and I led her through the doorway where Reece was
He looked confused asking if she was okay
I pulled him into the hallway and told him everything, "Aut is she okay" he said his voice full of concern
"I don't know" he nodded in agreement and went to go talk to her, but I had a nursery to run so I said my goodbyes and left
Reeces perspective
I saw Marjorie lying on the couch with her eyes puffy, I plopped down next to her and immediately asked if she was okay
With that sentence she cried, I felt horrible
"Baby it's okay" I kept saying but she kept saying something like "I'm so fat"
"Princess look at me ok"
She looked at me with tears dripping down her face
" You are the opposite of fat, don't let anyone tell that you are I love you and always will "
She nodded and planted a kiss on my lips before putting her head on my shoulder
We ordered take out and watched mean girls, just to calm her down but at the end we fell asleep on the couch
