Back Ground
Mattie was getting ready for a performance when her water broke. Her husband is not home so she called the neighbor asking if she can pick up Prince and Tyka from school and she headed to the hospital.
After 2 hours of pushing a baby girl was born on July 6, 1965 and her husband was finally at the hospital with their other two kids.
"She needs a name John." Mattie said not wanting to name her without her husband.
He took one look at the small baby thinking of a name for her. "Duchess Reign Nelson." Was all he said and left the room.
Mattie was not surprised but called her oldest and only son over wanting Prince to hold Duchess in his arms.
Prince was holding his baby sister and see the look of innocence on her but knows that she is going to be a victim of their parents fighting.
"I will always be there to protect you Duchess." Prince whispered to the small baby in his arms.
