The morning is young, some Spidops teach their baby Tarountula how to cast silk nets over ponds to catch their prey.
The first light of dawn kissed the cliffs of Cabo Poco, painting the sky with hues of gold and orange. The gentle crash of waves against the rugged coastline provided a soothing backdrop to the serene morning. The air was cool, carrying the scent of salt and wildflowers, a refreshing reminder of Paldea's costal beauty. On the edge of the cliff, Tazio and his partner, Quilladin, lay still, their bodies relaxed in the cool morning breeze. A sudden, playful screech cut through the tranquillity, jolting Tazio awake. Blinking groggily, he felt a tickle on his chest. Opening his eyes he found himself face-to-face with a small, curious Rookidee, its tiny talons tapping rhythmically as it nibbled on a razz berry it had taken from a nearby tree. The Rookidee's bright eyes sparkled with mischief, her jet black tail feathers twitching in delight. Tazio groaned, still half-asleep. "Ugh... what time is it?" He rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the drowsiness that clung to him. As his vision cleared, he saw the Rookidee, perched comfortably on his chest, munching contentedly. With a start, Tazio sat up abruptly. "Oh crap! shoo! Get off me!" he exclaimed, more surprised than angry. The Rookidee, merely chirped and continued her morning feast. Quilladin stirred beside him, its spiky body bristling slightly as it shook off sleep. With a grumble, it opened one eye to see the Rookidee, then another to glare at it. The sight of the cheeky pokemon nibbling on her food on his trainer seemed to irritate Quilladin. It puffed up slightly before giving the Rookidee a gentle but firm nudge, sending it tumbling off Tazio's chest with a surprised squeak. The Rookidee landed on her feet, its tail feathers all fluffed up as it skipped a few feet away. Turning back, she gave Quilladin a look that seemed to say "You're no fun" before fluttering away into the sky. Tazio couldn't help but laugh as he stretched his arms wide, yawning deeply. "Well, I guess we're up now. Thanks for the wake-up call, bud," he said, patting Quilladin on the back. Quilladin responded with a contented chirp, its earlier irritation forgotten. Quilladin stretched his limbs, shaking off the last remnants of sleep before looking up at Tazio with a bright, eager expression. The morning sun had fully risen by now, casting long shadows across the cliffs and illuminating the vast expanse of the ocean before them. The scene was breathtaking, the kind of beauty that makes Tazio feel truly alive. He stood up, taking a deep breath of fresh, salty air, feeling the cool breeze brush against his skin. "This place is absolutely incredible," he murmured to himself, taking in the panoramic view. Quilladin stood beside him, his eyes gleaming as he gazed out at the horizon. After a few moments of silent appreciation, Tazio turned to Quilladin, a grin spreading across his face "Ready for a new day, Quilladin?" Let's head back to town and see what's in store for us." Quilladin gave an enthusiastic nod, its spiky exterior rustling with excitement. Together, they gathered their belongings, Tazio carefully making sure he has everything with him while Quilladin kept a lookout for any more curious pokemon. With all belongings on their people, they set off, leaving the cliffs of Cabo Poco behind as they made their way toward Los Platos.
