Astrid and Connie were outside in the school's parking lot waiting for Mikasa and Eren by his car. The duo were currently playing eight ball through imessage as they waited.

"Oi, you hungry?" He asked the girl as he missed a shot on his striped ball, cursing as he did.

"Yeah." Astrid mumbled as she scored one of her solid balls into the pocket.

"You wanna go to the diner. Sunny's working today." He suggested while he waited for her to send the game back.

"Mm, yeah. I'm kinda craving a pizza combo." She spoke while making another shot and missing the one after, the game being sent automatically.

"Yeah, I'm craving a burger with a chocolate milkshake." Connie agreed while measuring his shot carefully. As he was about to shoot the ball, Mikasa and Eren came from behind him.

"Yo." Eren spoke up, making Connie jump and send his shot elsewhere and missing it again.

"Fucking hell, Eren. You screwed up my shot." Connie groaned as Astrid smirked, knowing that she was about to win.

Connie turned around with a small pout and was faced with Eren, Mikasa and Cyrus. He furrowed his brows seeing the freshman walk up to them, but nonetheless greeted him either way.

"Yo, newbie." Connie hollered at him, making Astrid turn to face behind her as she made the winning shot on the black ball.

Astrid turned around to see Mikasa walking up to them in the black tracksuit that matched Astrid's and Eren walking beside the new member of the team.

"Sup'." The boy greeted as well as his hands were placed in his pockets and carried his back bag on his left shoulder.

"Cyrus is coming with us. I told him I could drop him off when you take me back to my place." Eren informed Connie.

"No problem, the more the merrier." Connie smiled. "Hope you don't have a curfew, we gonna go eat now." He said while making his way to the driver's seat, the boy nodding at his words.

"Sounds good. We're we going?" Mikasa asked while making her way to the backseat.

"Braus' diner." Astrid replied as she got in the passenger seat.

The group got in the car Connie in the driver's seat with Astrid in the passenger and Eren, Cyrus and Mikasa in the back in that order. Cyrus looked around the mess in the car and shrugged thinking that he's seen worse.

"What's Braus diner?" Cyrus asked while Connie started the car. While he did, the seniors all looked at the new freshman with a shock expression.

"You serious?" Eren asked the boy, making him turn to face the brunette.

"What?" Cyrus asked, seeming as if he offended the group.

"Oh, we about to bless your tastebuds." Connie expressed as he placed his car in drive and left the parking lot of the school.

After arriving at the diner and parking in his usual spot, Connie got out immediately and headed inside with the others following behind.

"Sunny! Table for five!" The gray haired boy hollered at his sister, who was currently taking an order.

"Ugh." She groaned while placing the small notebook in front of her face as her ears turned red of embarrassment from her older brother.

As he was about to walk further in, he was smacked on the back of his head by one of his friends.
