It's Sunday me and Kadence had to go to the store for groceries and been chilling ever since.
I did get invited to lunch by Shania but Kadence said no cause she back wit the boy that's friends wit jaded.
I was cutting up some vegetables while Kadence sat at the island.
"Shania keep calling you" she slid me my phone

"Kelsei I don't like how our friendship is"

Still here baby how you even know she been here I didn't run anything about last night to my friends.
"I just don't trust it she talking to a dude who cheating wit 3 other girls and we see that shit all over social media" Kadence said eating one of the carrots

I made sandwiches and a platter of carrots and celery and what not for us to dip in some ranch
"I don't know what she got going on I miss my friend tho. She never been dumb over a guy wellllll not like dumb she keep going back or let 'em disrespect her" Kadence gave me that girl bye look
The doorbell rang
I answered Shania was there wit a full beat on maybe she. Planned to go out before hand
"Heyyy boo I missed you hey Kade how are you" she sat on the couch I sat next to her

"I mean I've seen better days" she laughed it off trynna get comfortable
"We'll come inna kitchen wimmie so I can make our plates" she sat at the island while I fixed the plates
"Girlll I'm stressed I'm tired all the above really" Shania said putting her head in her hands
"What's been going on with you" I asked passing her a plate
"I mean I took custody of my brother and you know I'm back with my boo for better or worse and I'm just I'm not happy friend" I den her eyes welling up
"What's the matter Shania" I grabbed her hand and she let her tears fall
"I mean I'm doing everything right I cook I clean I trick off it's not enough it's never enough" she went on and on about how he just sits what tv goes to the club come home bitching
I asked if he put his hands on her and that caught Kadence's attention we locked eyes Shania shook her head no
"No he would never he never wanna hurt me Kelsei I just I gotta do more" I looked at her like I lost my girl
"You can't do more than what you already are doing" I walked off to give Kade her plate she stared at me I shook my head
"He ain't no good for you friend I think you should leave em youn need no man you did allis on yo own"
"I'm sick of having it Kelsei I want somebody else to help me sometimes and he does that" she wiped her face shrugging
"That's not helping him bitching and complaining about everything but if you like it I love it you'll leave when you ready
She told me Nina told her about jaded and she apologized she told me she's been asking about me a lot and she assumed we broke up or something.
"It's fine I'm fine it didn't go far which I'm thankful for I never wanna be in that position" she nodded and spaced out for a min
"Well lemme get going gottabpick up my brother from school and do some errands for my man" she popped up and went straight to the door
"I'm sorry girl I love you" she hugged me tight I hugged her back and it felt like a long one. Something felt off I didn't wanna press the issue.
Me and Kadence spent the rest of the day playing the game together I filmed a video letting her do my makeup which was full of jokes and Kadence flirting.
"I'm just saying got me doing content witchu now what chu gone tell yo lil fansss" she said plopping on my bean bag
"My friend does my makeup nothing major" I said laughing cause I knew how TikTok get and baby they was gone go to the moon
"Yeah okay where yo momma at" I did notice it was really quiet I shrugged grabbing my phone
Her location say she at one of Travis's property's prolly needed some space

I grabbed her on top of me she straddled me and I hugged her. She kept trynna get off so I tickled her
"Kadenceeeee ahahahahh stoppp stopppp I gotta peeee" I laughed and started calling her Pepe girl cause she ran to the bathroom

"Cmon fr let's get ready fo4 bed cause got that damn test in that anatomy class"

We got in the showers and I did my skincare while Kade played the game.
After I was done she turned it off and laid next to me on top of the covers.
"So can I stay" she was staring right through me
"Why are you feening kade" I sat up looking at her
"I just miss us I wanna give it another try but I wanna respect it so if you want me in the guest room imma go" she say onna edge of the bed back facing me.
I told her to go I regretted that but she needed to stand on what she says and I hope I can give it another try
